Songs to Praise God

I started this tread for all that believe in our Almighty Father and Jesus Christ to put Songs of praise here.
The first Song that I will put up is also of course the prayer that Jesus taught us.

OUR FATHER…
Our Father, who art in Heaven, halloweth be Thy name,
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, in earth as it is in
Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debt, as
as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil

BLESSING OF THE LITTLE CHILDREN
 They brought young children to the Lord
 To touch the Masters hand
 They have heard of all the miracles
 He performed throughout the land
 Disciples did rebuke them, with their faces stern and grim
 But when Jesus saw He was so displeased
 And beckoned them to Him

 Let the little children come unto Me this day
 Of such is God's great Kingdom and truly do I say
 My Father gives eternal life to His begotten sons
 So receive the Kingdom like a child
 Just like these little ones

 He took the children in His arms and held them tenderly
 Then He placed His hand upon their heads
 For all the world to see how He loved them
 He asked a special blessing on these little ones so dear
 For God's guidance and protection throughout the coming year

 We know they're set apart by God because of His great love
 With the hosts of guardian angels watching closely from above
 Let's follow in the footstep of our soon coming King
 And then our Father's worldwide Family together we will sing

THE TREE OF LIFE
When Adam and Eve were placed on earth
You'd think they had nothing to loose
With all of the blessings they'd ever need
Two trees they were given to choose
Between the knowledge of good and bad
And the way to lead them to life
They set the world on a dangerous course
That has always led to strife

I always thought that praising God in Song was for a Christian almost a must to me. So since others have not responded here, I have asked myself, why make the effort and put Songs up. Nobody seems to care. So thats all folks.

Praising Our Mighty Lord is a must.
And He is being praised 24hrs a day.
So make the effort and praise Our Mighty Lord in print
He is worthy of your praise.

You are so right, for awhile I thought there was nobody here that cared to I stopped writing. I love to praise God in Song. Tomorrow i will put up another of the beautiful Songs that are in my Song Book.

Hi Irene,
Your choice of songs brought a grin to my face. When my daughter and I were in Florida, just after the bicyclists reached their destination, she was playing that song on the piano for everybody. It was decided that “Climb Every Mountain” would be the theme song for their 430 mile biking adventure. They felt like they climbed alot of mountains but really they were only hills.
