No one can conclusively prove that God chose him for this job as the result of prayers or not.
But the question remains, can God choose a leader in a country if his people pray enough for change? Such as issues pertaining to Islamic Immigration, abortion, and elitist economics.
Also, by saying that he was definitely not chosen, then the prophecy…[Read more]

I agree with your post. How could I not. It is mostly scripture and your opening paragraph looks true.
However, I wonder if you know about this verse you quoted?
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Rather than derail this topic, I point…[Read more]

@t8, @942767, and anyone else;
He has Hebrews 1:5-7 incorrect.The title Son is about symbolism and not the body. Of course his argument is good against those that claim the angels were created from the body of God. It is also good against the same claim about the “form of God” being the form of angels when interpreting Philippians 2:7.

1 Corinthians 15:45Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
What does Paul mean “it is written” that the last Adam was made a quickening spirit since it is not written unless the last Adam is the breath of God.
In Genesis…[Read more]

By this scripture the Apostle Paul is teaching the church about humility and referring to the “mind of Jesus Christ”, and the scripture states “who being in the form of God…”. It is speaking of him as Jesus Christ not as pre-existent being. “Who being” is present tense.
It does not say “who having been in the form of God…” or “who u…942767 replied to the topic God has no son/God has no gender to be a Father/God is GOD in the forum Faith 9 years, 5 months ago

Technically all human are not born of the union of a male and female gamete. One of a set of identical twins is born of binary fission (mitosis) and not of the fusion of the male and female gametes.
Scripture ignores that technicality.

We are saved by faith. When we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead, and that we can be reconciled to God through him because he is the propitiation for our sins, then we repent and are baptized
That is a misused passage as demons believe in their heart that Jesus was raised from the dead.…[Read more]

Also, John is the greatest of men born of woman from the sperm of man, Jesus was indeed born of a woman, but not of the sperm of man, but conceived of the Spirit of the Living God.
He is speaking in terms of flesh is born of flesh and spirit is born of Spirit. The Spirit supersedes the flesh.

@942767, you said:
Those who are not saved will be judged according to their works, and their death or separation from God will be eternal, but no, they will not be continually punished for an eternity.
Agreed. You have to have eternal life in order to have eternal suffering. Also, your last point about Sodom is a good one.
