I agree. I started a thread once called, “Trinitarians: Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” What you just said was the whole point. Even a 5th grader can understand that there is God, and then there is God's Son. They know a father and son can't be the same person or being. They know Jesus is the Son of God, not God.This defilement of scripture that is the trinity has to be taught and almost brainwashed into young minds. Even then, most admitted trinitarians don't understand it anyway – they just follow suit.
