Quote (katjo @ June 04 2010,13:26) Incarnation isnt in the bible but the idea is there. The word is from Latan, meaning “in the flesh”. and it refers to God becoming a human being. The man Jesus of Nazareth, known as the Son of God and the Word of God-truly human but truly divine too. the book of John says that Gods word became flesh and dwelt among us. The whole New Testament affirms that Jesus was fully human and yet also the Son of God, the word made flesh.

Hi Katjo,The systems of religion and traditions of men communicate
distortions of truth, confusion of mind, and distractions of spirit.“The word” is Jesus Father:

Why Thomas calls Jesus God in John 20:28? (Note, Thomas addresses Jesus specifically.)
Why does God call Jesus God in Heb. 1:8?
Why does John the apostle state that Jesus was the Word which was God that became flesh (John 1:1,14)?
Why is the phrase “Call upon the name of the LORD” (Hebrew, YHWH, i.e., Psalm 116:4) used only of God on the OT, and translated into the Greek in the LXX as “Call upon the name of the LORD (greek, KURIOS),” applied to Jesus in the NT (1 Cor. 1:2) if Jesus is not God in flesh? What did Jesus say that caused the Pharisees to claim that Jesus was making Himself out to be God (John 8:58)?
How was it possible for Jesus to know all things (John 21:17)? How can Jesus know all men (John 16:30)?
How can Jesus be everywhere (Matt. 28:20)?
How can Jesus, the Christ, dwell in you (Col. 1:27)?
How can Jesus be the exact representation of the Nature of God (Heb. 1:3)?
How can Jesus be eternal (Micah 5:1-2)?
How can Jesus be the one who gives eternal life (John 10:27-28)?
How can He be our only Lord and Master (Jude 4)?
How can Jesus be called the Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6) if there is only one God in existence (Isaiah 44:6-8; 45:5)?
How can Jesus be called the Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6) and “God” also be called the Mighty God in Isaiah 10:21?
.How was Jesus able to raise Himself from the dead (John 2:19-21)?
How can Jesus create all things (Col. 1:16-17), yet it is God who created all things by Himself (Isaiah 44:24)?
How can Jesus search the hearts and minds of the people (Rev. 2:23)?
Why was Jesus worshiped (Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33; 28:9; John 9:35-38; Heb. 1:6) when He says to worship God only (Matt. 4:10)? (same Greek word for worship is used in each place.)
In the OT God was seen (Exodus 6:2-3; 24:9-11; Num. 12:6-9; Acts 7:2), yet no man can see God (Exodus 33:20; John 1:18). It was not the Father that was seen in the OT (John 6:46). Who, then were they seeing? See John 8:58.
Then why did Jesus claim the divine name, “I AM”, for Himself in John 8:58? see Exodus 3:14.
Then why did Jesus say you must honor him even as you honor the Father (John 5:23)?
Then why is it that both the Father and the Son give life (John 5:21)?
Then why did Jesus bear witness of Himself (John 8:18; 14:6)?Rev. He is the Alpha and Omega)other books too) first and Last, Beginning and the end,Almighty, and Ever lasting Father?

Note the Oberservations, no other claim will even scratch the suface of Islam because of these reasons.
Problem:
1) Muslims believe the bible is corrupted, there is no point to mention scripture.
2) Nothing else will make sense unless clear distinctions are made between the Quran and the Bible
3) The Muslims will use bible against you, even though that makes no sense, and they can freely pick and choose verses to attack, and in the end claim no responsibiltiy because in the end the bible is corrputed to them.
4) Psychological Defense: No matter what you say, they will not believe what you say is valid, because its based on the corrupted text.Solutions:
1) The Quran cannot survive without the Bible.
2) To distinguish the fallacys of the Quran one must seperate them both, but not by a corrupted since, but by seperating them showing clearly two different Gods and two different stories…Proirty!!
3) There is only one writer of the Quran.
4) His writings are based on the Bible.
5) Common foundation, different Gods.
6) God identity. Defining who God is portrayed in the Bible vs the Quran, is important.
7) Showing the differnse between Love vs Submitting.
8) Showing the differense of how we are all sinners vs those who submit to God.
9) The Perfection of God.
10) Jesus being the key to all these arguements can now be presented.Note: Doesnt mean anyone will believe. Everyone has a right not to believe.
Paul Washer-“To make all contradicting statements True is the death of Truth”
Observations:
1.) Uncorrupted Quran cannot be validated by the Bible because its corrupted according to Qurans Text.
2.) Uncorrupted Quran cannot be validated by the Bible because its not corrupted when the Quran says it is.
3.) Uncorrupted Quran can be validated by the bible because it completes the bible which is corrupted, so the uncorrupted and the corrupt come togthor in adultry.
4.) Uncorrupted Quran validates the Bible that is corrupted, Yet to uphold Truth, Quran says to study both books as Allah provides Truth to the disputer. To study both books, what was sent before and the guardian of it.Quote Your observation is correct (Note: Bod agrees with this.)

you have to stop changing your belief system at the drop of a dime after every reading of every book you come across, perhaps you are studying too hard or too much. The Quran says that Jesus was strengthened with the HOLY SPIRIT.
We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!
( سورة البقرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #87)Perhaps you should correct yourself now that you see that you were once again misguided. It is talk like this that misleads people about Islam and the content of the Quran but then again you have never even read The Quran but still you insist on lying about what is or is not in it.
The reason why I said it was lying that you are doing is because you made a direct assertion as a fact instead of saying “I'm not sure but, does the Quran deny …”
Now I put the scripture there for all to see and the result is clearly you lied.

Hi Karina,The systems of religion and traditions of men communicate…
distortions of truth, confusion of mind, and distractions of spirit.“The Word” was “IN” the Son…
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's(HolySpirit) which sent me.
John 14:10 …the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself…
John 15:3: Now ye are clean through the word(HolySpirit) which I have spoken unto you.“The Word” is also in us believers (after Pentecost)…
Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up,
take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate:
but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye:
for it is not ye that speak, but the HolySpirit(The Word). Click hereDid Jesus grow and multiply? NO!
Acts:12:24 …the word of God grew and multiplied.
The “HolySpirit”(THE WORD) grew and multiplied in the hearts of all the believers!God bless

The Word of God is right ED and the OT even testifies of this as well as Jesus who said:If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
John 10:34-36Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
Luke 3:1-3And it came to pass the same night, that the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
1 Chronicles 17:2-4But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
1 Kings 12:21-23and also look at this:
John 14:7-9 (King James Version)
7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
1 Samuel 9:27 (King James Version)
27And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on), but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God.
It seems we agree on these points and that's good
