      You guys overquote.

    Hi Shimmer, NOT SO!

    Not everyone follows every thread. Some people only click on the last page.
    So it is therefore advantages, so hold smaller topical conversations together.
    I hope you can understand why we both do this. As the smaller topics veer, I…

              * 1. Sometimes clip the older parts off.
              * 2. Sometimes post with no quote reference.

    Ed, seeing you seem to be sulking over the issue (How childish)  Here is what t8 said:

    I wonder if we could keep our posts free of too many quotes. Some posts have quotes withing quotes within quotes and then one new new line or paragraph at the end, and then the next guy quotes that whole post and so on.

    It makes it much more readable and easier to follow, when you quote relevant parts only, or just talk about what the other guy said with a copy and paste or just putting it into your own words. Opening 2 tabs can help with copying and pasting.

    Another thing you can do when replying to the above post is not quote at all, just aim the post at that person by saying something like “To Bob”, “Dear John”, “Miss Jane Doe”, “To the comment above”…

    That way, even if someone posts before you, it is still easy to follow and of course it is very easy when it is the next post. No need for quotes there. In fact lots of quotes just get in the way of the flow and the conversation becomes hard to follow because very few people read long and embedded quotes and coversing posts are separated by great distances.

    Cheers.

    And Ed, when you attack someone by stating over and over that they serve Satan etc, is that truly going by what Jesus said – to love your neighbour as yourself? Do you love Muslims Ed??

    Ed, if you had a Muslim neighbour, would you talk to them? Would you say what you say here to them?

    Just wondering.

    Sorry to go on about the quoting.

    Hi BD,

    When referring to our solar system, I simply say “our solar system”.

    B'shem
    YHVH

    If you choose to speak that way it is fine but it is really you just being stubborn and dishonest.

    Exodus 3:6
    Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

    Once again you are taught now will you please learn?

    Can God ever say “I am our God” no He can say “I am God” or I am “The God” The Funny thing is God is very particular about Who He is so He is always through the entire scriptures saying things like

    Joshua 22:22
    `The God of gods — Jehovah, the God of gods — Jehovah, He is knowing, and Israel, he doth know, if in rebellion, and if in trespass against Jehovah (Thou dost not save us this day!)

    1 Samuel 5:8
    And they send and gather all the princes of the Philistines unto them, and say, `What do we do to the ark of the God of Israel?' and they say, `To Gath let the ark of the God of Israel be brought round;' and they bring round the ark of the God of Israel;

    Hi BD,

                Compare with “King of Kings” and “LORD of Lords”. (Rev.19:16)

    The phrase “GOD of Gods” is just another way of saying “The Most High”(Psalm 83:18);
    it doesn't mean that there actually are other gods; I thought you would have known this?

    God bless

    Ed, what is that supposed to mean?  What exactly are you telling me I need to repent of.

    You need to answer my question Ed.  Do you have any Muslim neighbours.  Do you speak to them like this?  I mean, some of the things I have read here and on other threads lately.

    Please answer the question, thanks Ed.

    If Loving God genuinely with all my heart , soul and mind is me or other Muslims being deceived what is it then when you feel love for God?

    Bod, most Muslims don't know the Bible.  They don't know about Jesus do they – apart from the Quran.  But YOU do know.

    I heard a Muslim doing a Sermon one day.  He was saying “God does not have a Son”.  On that day I decided that Islam was not for me.

    Hi Shimmer,

    Muslims also teach their ‘al-lah’ is unknowable (Sura 5:40). While the Judeo Christian GOD, “YHVH” is knowable (Jer.31:34).

    So I guess a Muslim should pray and ask God to show them who He is.

    Bod, do most Muslims just do the routine prayers or do they pray as in conversate with God? I don't know that's why I ask. I know they do routine prayers.

    Hi BD,

    There is only ONE “OWNER”,
    and that's “God The Father”;
    Jesus is Son of “The Owner”.

    And that is what one “LORD” means. (Deut.6:4)
    Quit trying to make this word mean two “God's”!

    Arabic? She asked did you love Muslims Fewer than 15% of muslims are arabs, I am not an Arab.

    Also I keep telling you that there are many Arab Christians and Jews

    Islam is a religion not a race, so when you say your Arabic brothers are in a false religion it shows you don't even understand that Arabic doesn't equal Muslim and that lack of knowledge will hold you back as far as “beaing a teacher” is concerned. Right now the level of your ignorance in certain areas is so bad that you shouldn't even be debating religion at this point becauseyou just don't know enough and when someone tries to correct OBVIOUS errors you ignore facts. Facts like Arab Christians and Jews call God “ALLAH”

    Once I told you that, you should have stopped insulting the name of God spoke by Arab Jews and Christians
