    Nick,
Jesus never needed to be reborn, He was never separated from God. Sin separates us from God…He had no sin.

    Mike,
You could say that He was the firstborn of the creation of God and in that way He is the beginning of the creation of God. That would show you that there was a begettal and not a creative act. Adam wasn't considered a firstborn because he was a creative act.

    Kathi

Jesus is the first member of the group known as “God's creations”. Out of all of God's wonderous creations, Jesus was the beginning. God created him as the first of His works of old.

    Well Mike,
You won't find that in scripture.

That's exactly where I found it, Kathi.  :) What you WON'T find in scriptures is the idea that Jesus existed before God begot him as His firstborn Son. In fact, you won't find any instance at all – in scripture or history – where a son existed before his father begot him.

    GHi MB,
His begettal and the advice given to his adult son is shown in Ps 2

    Hmmmm…………

Which part of Ps 2 says the begetting didn't already happen like the scripture says?  I know you IMAGINE these were prophetic words for some future time – but where is your proof of this?  And how does it fit in with Proverbs 30:4, where it is made clear that God already has a son?

    Hi LU,
Jesus was reborn as a Son of God at the Jordan.
The sons of God are led by the Spirit of God.[cf rom 8 14]

    N

Ro 8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
Ro 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Ro 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba,Father.”
Ro 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Lk 2:46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
Lk 2:47 Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.
Lk 2:48 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you.”
Lk 2:49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

He was about 12 here you mean he did not ad the spirit here ????

and the word “LED “is not fund in Luke 4

    Hi T,
Why do you think his knowledge is proof of God's Spirit living in him?
Plenty of folk know stuff without that blessing.
