TK…………..Good food for thought brother. Empowering another being as in control of Peoples minds ofter then GOD is only Idolatry. The only devils are the people themselves by their own lustful desires and prides, trying to blame it on some other Satan God creature is pure false teachings, it cause people to blame to someone else as the cause of their sins instead of examining themselves as the sinners and repent of their own actions they themselves are committing.

They fail to realize it's (ALL) about Good and Evil , there very words show the natures that is IN (THEM), not some elusive creature taking control of them. WE ourselves need to learn to choose the Good and reject the Evil, and with GOD'S Spirit (IN) us that can be done , “FOR WE ARE (CREATED) UNTO GOOD WORKS”, our mind and hearts should dwell on the good things as you said and Paul said also, we should be lights in an EVIL loving world.

Peace and love to you and yours…………………gene

To All: It seems to me the devil has fallen into the cradling arms of Christianity. So called Christians talk much about the devil and recognize it as the god of this world. Why would someone who calls themselves Christ-like even acknowledge the existence of evil. There is no evil in this world that does not come through a human being. Spiritual thoughts are either creative/love thoughts that build up and heal all people, which are from God or they are thoughts of degradation, destruction, hate, killing, pain, suffering and evil which are apart from God. You have the power to choose which words, or thoughts you will incubate, contemplate, and meditate on which will energize and ripen the words/fruit to manifestation in this world.

To rid this world of evil spirits/words of destruction we need to speak God truth which builds up, saves, heals, helps the listener, etc.!

We have the annointed mind of Christ. Great power as creative forces of good or evil. Its your choice. Religion says it is what you do or don't do but that is a lie. Thoughts always come first into the clearing house of your mind before they can be empowered by a human and manifest in the earth. Guard your thoughts/mind/heart with all diligence for from it flow the issues of life. Stop empowering evil! Stop speaking destruction to one another. Build each other up with the truth of Christ Jesus and what he has said/spoken to us. Stop looking for wars and destruction. The wars are in the mind. We do not fight against flesh and blood. We fight spiritual/evil words wickedness coming from high up religious leaders. They are blind and have been leading others to blindness. God's truth is spiritual, word wars for truth/peace/light. Evil/spirits/words are lies/devils/destruction! Speak well to your brothers and sisters and your entire life will change for good. God Bless, TK

    Tk,

    1 John 4:1
    Tests all Spirits.
Christ spoke of the existance of evil.
Simply, Christ acknowledge that Evil existed, and that we should resisit.
When Christ was arrested you said, it was the HOUR of darkness.

Other than that your post is understandable and correct if it was related to something. Who is empowering evil? Who is speaking destruction of one another? Who…

of Whom do you speak of.

Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

    Matthew 4:10
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

    Hi SF,
What you quoted was my opinion.
However the god of this world, the serpent, was before Adam.
He was a liar and a murderer from the epoch before Genesis called THE BEGINNING

    Let me try this again:

Ezekiel 28 is addressed to the Prince of Tyrus who is a man. Here is the scripture:

    Quote
    Ezekiel 28

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas;yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

The following verses again continue to address the King of Tyrus who we have already determined, by the scripture above, is a man.

    Quote
11Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

And so, This addresses the observations that you make. You want me to answer who was “perfect in the day that he was created”, who was upon the holy mountain of God, who was in the Garden of Eden, and every precious stone was his covering etc.

The only thing that I can tell you is that this is addressed to the King of Tyrus who is a man.

Anything more, I can not answer because to do so would be to speculate. Nothing is said here about the devil or the serpent.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

    Numbers,
I realized that some scriptures were skipped.

    lets refer back to them.

    Quote

3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
    6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

This clearly speaks of Tyrus. Because it talks about his condition, and how he got there, and the riches that he has and that he will die. and it all ended with saying because t
    saith the Lord God.

    Now after verse 12.
12: Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

I think lamentations means something abotu greif.
Here God speaks of the model of perfection.

Clearly Tyrus does not fit this description from 12 and up.
So Its compared to Tyrus not that it is Tyrus.

    Like many compare being Christlike.

Using other scriptures to identify who this is, makes more sense.

    Hi Nick:

It depends upon the definition of the word “cherub”. Are all men anointed cherubs, I would say, no, but this is addressed to a man, the king of Tyrus, to whom those scriptures state that he was that anointed cherub in the Garden of Eden.

    Numbers,
    So to have this clear..
The bible says that no other man other than Adam or Eve has been in the garden of Eden.

    Therefore thats impossible.

Therefore Scripture is not speaking of Tyrus

we need to compare this scripture with others.

    Hi SF:

I cannot go beyond what the scriptures in Ezekiel state. They are addressed to the King of Tyrus who is a man.

These scriptures also seem to relate to what the Anti-Christ will do when he sets himself in the temple of God showing himself to be God.

The devil is a spirit, and that spirit does dwell in men.

The devil fell when Jesus was raised again from the dead.

    Hi SF:

You want me to speculate, but I cannot. Where does the scripture state that the devil was an anointed cherub or that he was perfect in beauty or any of this that you are trying to attribute to him?

I have also heard that the devil was an angel in the heavenly choir, but that isn't in the bible, maybe in the Quran, I am not sure of this.

The scriptures in Ezekiel 28 are addressed to a man, and I only know one man who was literally in the Garden of Eden, but it may be that may be that the Garden Eden is compared to the luxurious life-style that the King of Tyrus lived.

    Isaiah 14 also states:

    Quote
Isaiah 14:12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

This is addressed to King Nebuchadnezzar.

or the spirit of the Devil or what not,

No you cannot find a truth in a patchwork quilt of scriptures.
Find it written, and find it written again.
