T,John 1:13 does not specify rebirth. Jesus was born of the Spirit of God the first time and so not need to be adopted by being born of the Spirit of God the second time.

You do not have the idea of the Holy Spirit correct as it is more than one thing. As the Counselor it is the Spirit of Love that is in God. We know that because the fruits of the Spirit and the fruits of Love are one and the same. God lives in believes trough the Spirit of love because when we walk by that Spirit we will do as God would do and we will speak as God would speak because God is Love. If we do not Love then we are not living by the Spirit.

Kthe love of God is a action that God performs/gives/
but always will it be done through the spirit of truth ;for God cannot lie ,and so the spirit of truth can be a comforter/counselor this is done during our lives during the night or day,when we are sleeping or awake ,God's love is at hand IT IS OUR LOVE FOR HIM THAT IS THE QUESTION NOT HISboth are needed to communicate

We use love to mean an emotion but the bible seems to use it somewhat differently. It is something to look into as Scripture states it is the sum of the law.

Kyes the body demonstrate his love by emotions and feelings
but God and the spirit shows love to be an action and so a demonstration of love through our action but not through our emotion ,
it does not mean that emotions are bad ,but they have to be lined up with the actions of the love of the spirit ;
look at the wording of the first commandment

Wrong. Nathan was born on this earth, and was sent “from” God from one place on earth to another place on earth.That is not “sent from above”….. because Nathan never was “above”.
Surely you realize that the word used of John being sent “from God” also means “by”, and therefore the teaching is that John was sent “BY God” – not actually “FROM God” – as if John was beside God in heaven before God sent him.
And surely you realize that being sent “BY God” is not the same thing as being sent “FROM heaven”.
June 18, 2014 at 2:28 am#389240kerwinParticipantMike,
The location of Nathan's birth is irrelevant. He is an officer of government of God. No matter where he physically came from he was sent from heaven. You know this already as you know that the troop were sent from Washington is speaking of troops being sent from the government. It is just telling you where the order comes from or who gave it.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

FIRST UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES ;

LOOK WHAT IT SAYS ; LOVE IS PATIENT ; Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth,ECT….
DO YOU SEE THAT ALL THOSE FRUITS ARE ACTIONS FROM PRACTICING GODLY LOVE
SO THE “
SPIRIT OF TRUTH “ IS IN REALITY A TRUE WAY OF GODLY LIVING ;ALL ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL ,
GOD ADD GIVEN TWO THINGS TO CHRIST ;1) THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH ;SO THAT WHAT EVER HE SAID IS TRUE ;
AND HE ALSO GIVE HIM “POWER ” TO DO THINGS FOR THAT SAME TRUTH ;POWER CHRIST ALSO GIVE TO HIS APOSTLES IN SOME MEASURESO HONESTLY WE CAN SAY THAT A PERSON THAT HAS THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH SHOULD PRODUCE THE FRUITS OF IT ,BECAUSE THE FRUITS FROM THE INSIDE OF THE SOUL WILL BE REFLECTED BY THE FLESH ON THE OUTSIDE ,LIVING WORDS ;

Wrong, wrong, wrong, Kerwin.Nathan was never “sent FROM HEAVEN” – which is why such words were never said of him in any scripture. Those words were also never said of John the Baptist, because he also was never sent FROM HEAVEN.
Nor would anyone say the troops were sent FROM Washington – unless they actually were IN Washington before they were sent.
Instead, it would more likely be said that they were sent BY Washington.
The translation that John was a man sent FROM God is misleading, since John was never actually WITH God in heaven before being sent into the wilderness to baptize.
It should be translated, “a man sent BY God” – which coincidentally is another meaning of that Greek word most translate as “from” in that verse.
Kerwin, what point were you trying to make to Pierre with this stuff anyway? I butted in because I saw you post that John was sent “FROM HEAVEN” – something that is never said in any scripture. I wanted to make sure you realized that you were misquoting scripture.
But what were you posting that to Pierre for in the first place?

Being born of the promise of God is more important that being born of the flesh and so Isaac was called the one and only son of Abraham even though Ismael was also his son, as of the flesh.
Both were also conceived of Abraham, as of the will of God, though God only promised the birth of Isaac.
Kso in your understanding we all born by the will of God ;
but it says that we are born by the will of men ,(mom and dad ) want a kid ,
but all men are born through God's arrangement for that purpose (to conceive children) but God does not decide for us how many kid we will or can have ,
you say; Both were also conceived of Abraham, as of the will of God, though God only promised the birth of Isaac.
how you come to the conclusion that the slave kid was was conceived by the will of God
T,Why do you think God does not decide how many children we have when their are woman that want more children than they have but do not have them no matter how they try.
It is written:
Matthew 10:29
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)29 `Are not two sparrows sold for an assar? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father;
If a sparrow cannot die with God's will then a human cannot be conceived without his will.
and this answers you question about man's will.

KJn 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
Ge 1:28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.
being blessed by God into having many children does not eliminate that if you wanted one kid instead of 8 that is your choice not God's ,
the reasons for some women or men not to be productive is a question but is it related to God ,that would be another question ,
what was the purpose to make children
why would it be God's fault that some people are not able to reproduce i do not think so ,

Mike,Sent can use as ordered and from can be used or the source. Consult a dictionary and you will find that our. I looked it up. It is not mistranslated though you may not be used to that used of the words while the translators were more familiar with them.
The pattern is ordered from source. So saying God, heaven, God's throne, above, or anything else that shows the same source has the same general meaning.
I also think by and from are near synonyms in this case.

understand that how further of God we go how worse it get for us as men ,physically and spiritually
