Many either reject Jesus altogether or follow a false teaching. Either choice leads to a lack of power against the flesh.
I agree Kerwin.
So the best advice to a christian who is living in sin of some type, would be to firstly get immersed in water, if they have not been, then repent of following false teachings, and obey the Spirit of God and the commands of God and Christ.
Idolatry is the worship of anything or anyone as God other than God Himself, and so, I don’t see any of that is we thank God for the things that he gives us, a nice house, a nice car etc. I believe that if we are sincere Christians we know when we have put those things ahead of serving God.
