What I pointed out for you is that there is a Hebrew word for regular male and female prostitutes. And a DIFFERENT Hebrew word for male and female prostitutes that worked ONLY at temples.

The Hebrew words in 23:18 refer to regular prostitutes, and should be translated as such.
What that means is that the translations that say “temple prostitutes” or “shrine prostitutes” in verse 17 are the CORRECT translations.
Are you able to understand this, and acknowledge that the KJV missed the boat on that one?

It would have been a matter of Israelites coming into His temple to worship HIM by having sex with these prostitutes. And He was telling them the things that WERE acceptable as worship towards HIM, and the things that WEREN'T acceptable as worship towards HIM. And one of the things that WASN'T acceptable as worship towards HIM was the practice of having sex with prostitutes that worked out of His temple.
Do you understand? The other nations had temple prostitutes as a way of worshipping their gods. And Jehovah was telling the Israelites that this practice was not to be done as a way of worshipping HIM in His temple.

But the KJV people have mistranslated 17, and made it speak about REGULAR prostitutes. And they have missed the meaning in verse 18, and have made it speak of the “price of a dog” when it really refers to the “money made by the act of male prostitution”.
It's like the Hebrew text spoke about “Las Vegas prostitutes”, and the KJV people left out the “Las Vegas” part and made it speak about any old prostitute from anywhere.
And the point is if the Hebrew words SAID “Las Vegas prostitute”, then that's how the KJV people should have translated it. But they DIDN'T.

And you can't bring yourself to acknowledge that the KJV translates the Hebrew word “ra” as “adversity” four different times, but mistranslates it as “evil” Isaiah 45:7.
So what would happen if I watched that video, and started showing the actual Hebrew text for the points your professor got wrong? Would you listen to me? Would you adjust your understanding in the light of the facts?

It is a translation in the AKJV of a Hebrew word that literally means male temple prostitute. Such prostitutes were said the be rendering service to a fertility goddess. Anal sex or homosexual relations of any kind would not do so.
