Hi,
Sin in the flesh exists.
After rebirth from above we can continue to serve sin.
But we are encouraged to walk in the Spirit and become overcomers-sons of God.

Nick and Gene are both speaking the word of grace to thee,even the grace of St Paul’s teaching,yet you don’t seem to be satisfied with this.Don’t be so hard on yourself,for I know you have saving faith which speaks thus”blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven and whose sins are covered,blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin”.Therefore being justified -made righteous-by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ.Do you believe you have peace with God by faith? Then let yourself feel the peace.Clear your mind and find the peace within-it is within you.
You may not save the world but you can save yourself from much misery and self loathing by finding or realizing the real you in Christ who is not such a bad guy.In doing so God will lift you from the dunghill and set you upon a rock.
