What can be done to prevent spam postings?

Editing rights is given when a user has been posting for a while. The reason it is not given to newer members is that it stops spammers from abusing that feature. i.e., they post a legit post and change it later. A member who has posted for quite a while and has good posts earns editing rights because they have a good track record. Sorry about that. It is a rule to stop abuse on the forum.

Hey Ed,

I can now delete the spam topics also. So just report them as you see them, and t8 or I will remove them.
