Agreed that it’s a very different religious landscape here than in the US or even the UK…
I don’t think this is going to go down very well at all, and isn’t really necessary around here. I think people mostly already act according to what the bus ads say. In NZ more people probably believe in psychics and ghosts than god – perhaps ‘psychics and ghosts probably don’t exist….etc’ would be better.
You may feel this is not necessary in NZ, but we still have the Brian Tamaki’s of this world reaming 10% out of peoples pay each week.

To the critical mind, it seems that the proportion of prayers that are specifically answered do not deviate too far from what the simple law of averages would suggest.
Having never prayed in my life, I can certainly attest to having a better than fair share of good fortune.
Regardless, what never fails to surprise me is the egotism and arrogance of the Christian who, by praying for divine favour or intervention, actually calls doubt on the very wisdom of their god!
