    Hi T8,

And that other verse is in the next chapter so it is clearly in context. Like you said to Wakeup,
“sometimes we don’t understand Prophecy until after we see its fulfillment”
    Or something along those lines.

    God bless

    Thank you t8.

    Wisdom comes from having knowledge.
Without knowledge there can not be wisdom.

    wakeup.

And wisdom comes through the Spirit of God who opens our eyes to scripture, and drives us to seek. Without the spirit of God, we are alone, and our eyes (minds) are closed. “No-one can come to me unless the Father draws them, and I will raise them up on the last day.”

    Hi Ed.

You said “The USA killed the king of Babylon”, that being in your opinion “Saddam Hussein, his son Uday Hussein,
and his nephew Barzan Ibrahim al-Tikritihe”.

How are they the deceivers of the whole world?

Back to the subject, Gog and Magog, the four corners of the earth, what more is there to explain? It is the final battle (and we are there now/soon).

Most people, at least “non amillenialists” try to fit scripture in with their doctrinal belief, and cannot understand HOW the final battle ends in the end of the earth. Fire comes down from heaven. The world is destroyed in fire. We look for a new heavens and a new earth.

And when Israel attacks the Gazan’s, the spirit in me feels sympathy for them, not for Israel?

And who do you feel sympathy for when the Gaza rockets are fired into Israel?

If no rockets are fired into Israel, then Israel will not attack the Gazan’s.

I look at both sides to get the true picture.

    Hi Camillia,

Their god ‘al-Lah’ is satan the devil.
What verse are you referring to?

If Israel stopped taking land off the Gazan’s who were there first, no rockets would be fired.

Hi Camilla. I get bombarded nearly every day with ant-Israeli sentiment and propaganda.
Here are some videos to get the other side of the story. You won’t see these on your TV as much as you will see programs and news against Israel. I am sure both sides contain bias. But the truth lies therein somewhere.

    @Camilla

    Thanks for your feedback.

There could be much more to understand here.
I offer this page that outlines an interesting theory.
Let me know what you think?

I don’t wholeheartedly embrace the view myself, but remain open-minded to what I think is a strong possibility.

    Is Islam the Beast?

Hi t8. I will reread your posting and get back to that.

I do not believe Islam is the beast of Revelation. Here is why.

In 2006 while praying, I saw the globe of the world, and a huge lizard like reptile which had managed to smother, darken and consume most of the countries, excluding the Middle East, but it was about to devour there too, and I felt sad that nothing could be done to stop it advancing. As I said, that was approximately 2006.

I asked God about the Muslims. I was given the verse about the ancient Rehabites (Jeremiah 35). I had not ever read that chapter before, but my question was answered. I believe the Muslims, like the Rechabites, obey their ancestor Mohammad, and yet the majority of Christians have become weak and disobedient.

If ISIS are killing, raping, or taking as slaves Christians, then we should be GLAD, because dying for our love of Jesus and God, is a positive thing, is it not?

    We can be tested.
ISIS are giving most people a choice, from what I understand. Convert to Islam, pay a special tax, leave, and give up all material possessions, or die.

If you were given that choice, what would you do?

I think the choice they are giving these days is convert to their version of Islam or die.

What is your opinion on one head of the beast being assimilated/merged/conquered by the next?

    Egypt → Assyria → Babylon → Media Persia → Greece → Rome → Ottoman

Is the Ottoman Empire the exception perhaps.

The Middle East is now predominantly Muslim. Even Antioch and many the places you read about in the Bible.

Please understand that the muslems are only used as one of the tools of the western nations,
to accomplish part of their agenda.
When they have accomplished; they also will go after the muslems.
Because in their heart is to destroy 95% of the world population.
But because of God; they will not succeed. They will be dung upon the earth.

    wakeup.

    t8,

I did read your writing, and have thought about it myself in times past, especially when I learned about Islam.

I try not to stress over what everything means, as God will show us ‘things as they happen’, if we trust in him.

I don’t know how much of Revelation is fulfilled already.

I don’t know if the beast spoken about is past.

I do not believe those who say they have figured out the mystery – they all say that.

But I do believe we are up to the end (Rev 20:7), so most other things become a blur to me – though the current Middle East conflict if it becomes worse, could tie in with Rev 20:7.

Somebody told me to apply a spiritual meaning to the book. I am open minded with that, and am going to give that some thought.

I think the choice they are giving these days is convert to their version of Islam or die.

So then we die! (By we, I mean brother and sisters over there – I doubt the same will come here).

“Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”

I am supposed to be a missionary in a Muslim country, but I never made it there, (Satan’s tricks have prevented me from going).

(Read in the spirit of Jesus) “You shall seek the place which the LORD your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation there; thither you shall go, and thither you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices.”
