The Spirit was promised to all the Lord God calls to Himself. acts 2.39

The Spirit is given to those who obey the command and who seek the blessing.

 

So if these prerequisites are not followed the Spirit will rarely be manifest.

Many have come and preached falsehoods and attracting huge followings.

False religion, false teachings, false christs all take their captives.
