Quote (mikeboll64 @ Mar. 02 2014,22:58) Quote (kerwin @ Mar. 01 2014,16:42) I also said: Quote Jesus is appointed to the role that God's word formerly held alone and that he also personifies that word. That also seems to meant the same thing.
I have not said the word is not still out there.
So who is it that rides the white horse in Rev 19? Jesus? Or God's Word?
Mike,It is Jesus, who is called Faithful and True and who is also called by the name of the Word of God. Jesus personalizes all three.

Before God's Word did not go through Jesus but in these last days it goes through Jesus be it an angel, a prophet, or anyone else that speaks or does it went through Jesus first.
Kerwin,WHO speaks through Jesus in these latter days?

Revelation 19:13 says “The Word of God” rides that horse, Kerwin.Yet you and I both agree that it is “Jesus” who rides it.
That is yet another reason to believe that “the Word” literally BECAME Jesus Christ.

And Jesus of Nazareth became the Word.March 4, 2014 at 1:29 am#373216mikeboll64BlockedYou've got it backwards, Nick.
Scripture says the Word became Jesus of Nazareth.

Can you show me the scripture.
The Word became flesh does not say that.
The Spirit of Christ is before flesh and above flesh.March 4, 2014 at 3:21 am#373219kerwinParticipantQuote (mikeboll64 @ Mar. 04 2014,06:08) Quote (kerwin @ Mar. 02 2014,23:07) John 14:10

The spiritual man John saw the WORD when he saw Jesus Christ.[1jn 1]
He neatly provided the bridge to our understandingMarch 4, 2014 at 4:21 am#373221WakeupParticipantThe name Jesus was only since he was born;
made flesh.Not before.
Before creation He was the Word of God.
God brought forth his Word and given Him a form like us.
Or rather; we like him.Dont forget that God himself IS A SPIRIT.
He can be anything;therefore He said unto Moses through His Word:
I AM THAT I AM.God *always* speaks through His Word,with a form/shape.
Like us. Even spoke to Adam and Eve and to Abraham.
For He is GOD'S WORD.
He will not come with the name Jesus;but He is called; The Word of God.wakeup.

So what difference did the ANOINTING at the Jordan make to the MAN Jesus of Nazareth?March 4, 2014 at 10:03 am#373223WakeupParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 04 2014,15:08) Hi Wakeup,
So what difference did the ANOINTING at the Jordan make to the MAN Jesus of Nazareth?
Nickhassan.Jesus did not need to be baptised with water;for he has the Holy spirit since conception.
But he did it because he was still under the law.
John was also baptised with the Holy spirit since conception.
No one babptised John as far as I know.
Baptism in water is for the remissions of sin.The Holy spirit descended upon Jesus, for John to see and hear the words spoken that,
Jesus was the man,the son of God,the Messiah.
Jesus was anointed since conception.wakeup.
March 4, 2014 at 3:32 pm#373224terrariccaParticipantJn 1:25 questioned him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”
Jn 1:26 “I baptize with water,” John replied, “but among you stands one you do not know.
Jn 1:27 He is the one who comes after me, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.”
Jn 1:28 This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing.Jn 1:33 I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Jn 1:34 I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.”March 4, 2014 at 5:35 pm#373225NickHassanParticipantHi Wakeup,

Nickhassan.Jesus was anointed since his conception.
He started preaching when he was twelve years old.
He started His own church/preaching, after He had fasted for forty days.Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
