    Hi MB,
I am sure God wants us to focus on His work done through this man.

    Nick,

I'm sure that taking in knowledge of the only true God, and Jesus Christ who He sent means everlasting life.

If YOU want to focus ONLY on the teachings of the scriptures that you're comfortable with, then have at it.

I will focus on ALL OF IT, thanks.

Do you have scriptures to back you up.

    Yes.

Let's start with Rev 3:14 first, Wakeup.

What does it mean that the Word of God himself told us that he was “the beginning of the creation of God”?

Could you tell me WHO was called “god” in Isaiah 9:6 and Hebrews 1:8, Nick? (This one was also called “son” in both of those scriptures. Who is it?)

    Hi MB,
God did not send another god.
It was His work done through this man that is what is important

But Isaiah 9:6 and Hebrews 1:8 DIRECTLY CONTRADICT the words you say, Nick.

Is that okay with you? Are you okay preaching things that are a DIRECT CONTRADICTION to what the scriptures say?

Adam was the first created man child of God (flesh).
Jesus was the first created spirit child of God.)spirit).
He was the first BORN of the dead.
We will also be made spirit children of God: following after Jesus, which He was the first. This will happen at the resurrection.

Adam was the first created flesh child.
Jesus was the first created spirit child.

    wakeup.

    Hi MB,
Where does scripture say God sent another god?

    Not here

    heb 1
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

    Nor here
    Is 9
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

    Agreed.

And which did God create first, spirit things, or flesh things?  It was spirit things, right?

So, what does it mean for that “first created spirit child” to tell us that he is “the beginning of the creation by God”?

What does it mean for Paul to tell us that this “first created spirit child” was the “firstborn of every creature”?

    1+1=2, Nick.

Take the fact that God SENT Jesus, and add that to the fact that God called Jesus a god at least twice, and your sum is that God sent another god. Actually, any time God sent an angel, He sent another god, Nick.

But we are talking about this in the other thread, so we can finish it there.

I don't know, Nick. Was math sufficient for Daniel, the prophet of God who spoke to angels, to figure out how long the exile would last?

Say something of value, or don't say anything at all, okay?

    Hi MB,
Proving yourself should become less or a priority for you.
There are important matters to be discussed.

    Nick,

1 God is not 3 persons.
100% man and 100% God is 100% too much.

    Kerwin.

The Holy spirit is the Holy spirit.
The fruit of the spirit is:
love; compassion; God fearing, not touching the unclean thing. etc, etc.

    wakeup.

    Wakeup,

I agree that the fruit of Spirit comes from adhering to the teachings of the Holy Spirit. You do that by faith.

I assumed T was saying the Spirits themselves were different Spirits.

    k

to holy spirit is of God and does God's will

the fruits of the spirit are the actions that occur when we sinners change our ways into live according to God's will ,
so it is a bye product of God's holy spirit (so to speak) deeds that pleases God,

it is understood that all good things originate from the beginning from God ,because God did not create anything bad and his spirit did not teach any unrighteousness either

but men men did ;and now are invited back to join God holiness '

just as the tree is not the fruit  he bares so God is not men ,and so God's holy spirit is not men spirit ,but men can gain from the holy spirit of God

    T,

I was responding to an earlier claim of yours that God has more than one Spirit and not what you actually said. Sorry about that.

The fruits of the Spirit are the acts of obedience to the teachings of the Holy Spirit that a believer receives when they are immersed in water for the forgiveness of their sins. The Holy Spirit is received by faith and obeyed by faith.

God's spirit teaches and empowers the spirit of man in us.

    Hi KW,
Yes, but not in the way you say

    rom 8
14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery [g]leading to fear again, but you have received [h]a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

    Nick,

If a believers spirit testifies with the Holy Spirit is not evidence it has been taught by it. After all that is Jesus sends the Counselor to teach all things of righteousness and holiness to his student-adherents.
