    Hi,
The Wedding feast of the Lamb is spoken of in Revelation 19.9 but is also very frequently mentioned in the gospels.

It is presented in literal form but also used in parable form.

Jesus says he will sit us down and serve us, those who think too highly of themselves will be given a lower place, people will be brought in from the highways and byways[?gentiles].

Abraham and Moses will be seated there etc.

I would like to understand more about it as to when it occurs etc. Is it at the Rapture\First resurrection? Or is it when the new Jerusalem comes down from heaven in Rev 21.2?

The wedding feats will have taken place before the millennium since the “bride” is reigning with him.

You obviously have great expectations, thinking you will sit on that table.

It is also meant symbolic, not literal, since the “bride” are the saints.

When the invited guests, the Israelites, rejected the invitation, God brought in the Gentiles from the highways and byways, meaning, he poured out his Holy Spirit on them too.

The first resurrection is not the, or a, rapture; there is no such thing as a rapture.
The new Jerusalem comes down from heaven after the millennium, it is a spiritual city for spirit beings, the saints; in which also God will be present.

    Hi Georg,
    So you say.
But your derivations are your own.

Then why don't “YOU” make more sense out of it?

Nick………Where does it say there will be a rapture, the First resurrection NOT a rapture. It is a world wide event that takes the whole world by surprise, a time of great tribulations the seas a roaring, men hearts failing them for fear of that thing coming on the earth and Perplexity of Nations. It will be a Celestial event The nations will think it is the end of the world many will parish, the world will go to and fro like a drunkard there will be great devastations on this earth especially for those who live along the coast areas. I do not think rapture is a good word to describe it, there is nothing secretly taking place. IMO

    peace and love………………….gene

you say;;The wedding feats will have taken place before the millennium since the “bride” is reigning with him

could back up what you say by scriptures??

Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
Rev 21:2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

Christ and the 144k are the temple and God reside among them and is also the new city the heavenly Jerusalem,
were the true worship is done, and the outer court will be for the nations to come and worship.
