January 10, 2009 at 4:14 am#117060NickHassanParticipantHi,
Mt1230″He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
31″Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
32″Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
So the work of God among men has always been by His Spirit, through His Prophets and lastly through His son and those servants enlivened by the Spirit in the Son. His words and His works must be honoured and no man dare abuse or misuse them or elevate himself or another man's words and works above those of God.
They are the words of eternal life and offer a way to safety to all men so care must be taken not to put stumbling stones in front of others who are called by God and searching for truth and light. Many claim to be guided by the Spirit but their beliefs are words are not in harmony with God's but with worldly spirits of deception. To claim to be a servant but to scatter by offering falsity rather than to bringing brothers to unity in scriptural truth is to put oneself in great danger.
January 10, 2009 at 6:23 pm#117106NickHassanParticipantHi,
This is what the Teacher says.
Lk12.10
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him.Mk3
28″Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”–
30because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
Mt12
32″Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.January 11, 2009 at 2:02 am#117138chosenoneParticipantNH.

January 11, 2009 at 6:51 am#117173NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
Have you entered the kingdom yet?Matthew 23:13
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.January 11, 2009 at 5:46 pm#117192GeneBalthropParticipantNick…….I explained this on another thread, But i will retry here, First of all no where does it say a person who commits the unpardonable sin will be thrown in to a lake of fire as you persume. It Say it will not be forgiven him, so who say a sin not forgiven meand eternal death. and sin not of given can still be repented off, a person can still change his thinking and accept correction. Jesus was simple telling them that an unpardinable sin is a sin the must be dealt with. The person must be confronted with it and a change is demanded. Why? because the person is going against the HOLY SPIRIT or the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, Truth is truth it cannot change no matter what anyone thinks, its absolute, never changing it can't change. So if someone is Blaspheming it , that means he must give an account and be dealt with.
Nearly all sin is forgiven man or will be except that, because it involves a matter of absolute truth (HOLY SPIRIT) If you have Holy Spirit in you then you know truth, and if you go against it you will be dealt with in this life or the life to come, because truth never changes.
The tree will be made Good and its fruit good or Evil and its fruit evil. no middle ground there. Where truth is Known.love and peace……………..gene
January 11, 2009 at 6:14 pm#117200NickHassanParticipantGB,
So we do not need the forgiveness of God just corrected thinking?January 12, 2009 at 5:43 pm#117316GeneBalthropParticipantNick……where did that come from, yes we do need forgiveness, but what is forgiveness if not (OVERLOOKING) our mistakes, and GOD also Corrects our thinking to, He does both. But blasphemy is someone who knows what he or she is doing with regards to truth and it will not be forgiven them now or in the future either. It must and will always be dealt with. Make the tree good and it fruit good or make it evil and its fruit evil, no middle ground there. There is only two ways GOOD or EVIL, in the end and we are called to learn to do GOOD and hate the evil. IMO
love and peace to you………………gene

So God corrects the thinking of those in whom he does not live?
