    Hi Mike,

How does 'your theory' square with these verses…
Eph.4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are
called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

    God bless

    Hi ED,
God is indeed above all and in all the saved and acts through them.
That has nothing to do with the worldly though

    Hi Nick,

Would you NOW say God is separate from his Spirit?

    Hi OXY,
    All three?
The Spirit of God is never separate from God

    Never.
The Spirit is as the finger of God

    Hi ED,
Why would you think God could be separate from His Spirit?
We are blessed to share His Spirit in Christ

    Hi Nick,

God's Spirit is God, of course He cannot be separate from himself!
'You' keep saying He is in Heaven and his Spirit is here,
makes me wonder what you mean; that's all.

    God bless

    Hi Ed,
    What does scripture say
'Our Father which art in heaven…”
Of course God is close to all men and in His beloved by His Spirit.

We form a temple on earth for God's Spirit[eph2.21-22]
In our temple we are helped by God's Spirit to worship and serve God in heaven.[Jn4,Rom8,1Peter 2,5]

    Hi ED,
In Jesus we have access to God by that Spirit.

So why is it written that the Father sent the Spirit if the Father is the spirit? That doesn't make sense.

Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.

    Hi Oxy,
God did not send Himself but His finger.
His Spirit is how He manifests in creation.

He sent His finger? Since when has a spirit been a finger? Have you got Scripture that says the Holy Spirit is a finger? ? ?

I used to explain the Trinity using the example of how water = H2O could be in three different properties/states yet still be ONE water:

    Liquid; water
    Solid; ice
    Gas; vapor

Without thinking about the physical composition I forgot that water isn’t one pure substance such as God is but consists of TWO gases, Hydrogen(2) and Oxygen, and is therefore is an erroneous analogy and not a good example of the Trinity but is better an analogy of the Family of God; Mother (God, the Holy Spirit), Father (God, the Father), Son OF God (NOT God).

The Mother (Holy Spirit) and Father (YHVH) would be the two molecules of Hydrogen (God) and the Son would be the Oxygen and together they make up Water which is necessary for our survival,
and Oxygen (son) ≠ Hydrogen (God),
but Hydrogen (God) = Hydrogen (God)

Now, I like the concept of an “apple” that consists of the apple/fruit (Father) and the core/seed (Holy Spirit).  The fruit is good to look at and eat but if you want another you need to plant the seed of the apple to produce more trees and more fruit.

Symbolically; if the person places the seed into their heart then they will reproduce….and this is the same seed that the son has in him.

How would you describe the way you see (explain) God?

I am sure there are more romantic ways to give an analogy…

    Hi David-be-fun,

The “HolySpirit” is (YHVH) “The LORD JEHOVAH”!
Are the “Son of God” and the “Son of Man” two as well?
What about plasma; how does that fit into your trinity analogy?

Witnessing to the world in behalf of YHVH (Psalm 45:17)
יהוה האלהים (JEHOVAH GOD) YÄ-hä-vā  hä ĔL-ō-Hêêm!
