ParticipantQuote (princess of the king @ Sep. 23 2009,11:41) have you thought of any discussion we have had, have you taken anything i have to say 'serious'? why do you need all the 'junk' inbetween is beyond me, rituals, ceremonies, traditions, icons, prayers, church fathers, that does not get you into the kingdom, your church is set up like a click……if you do this to get in, you have got it made, this is not play time chad, it is your salvation, don't let anyone take it from you.
I could ask you, why (if you think I'm so wrong) you have failed to refute one tiny little point I've made.Have you ever considered that what you see as ceremonies and rituals is the visible expression of the Kingdom of God on earth? Have you ever considered that what you have been told about the Church COULD POSSIBLY be at variance with what it really IS IN FACT?
Don't you think it is odd that you think you know my faith SO WELL, but I don't claim to believe what you accuse me of believing? (an example could be worshiping statues…I reject such idolatry in the strongest of terms)
Why don't we start again. I'll offer an olive branch to you.
I really, truly am sorry for calling you Jezebel. I don't even know you. Please forgive me.
But if we can't talk sincerely as honest people to one another then I'm not interested in going any further. It would be fruitless.

Mandy! I love you, but I don't think that we should come betwen others and tell them what and what not, they should say. Since I came out ot the Catholic Churcg I know what they do. There's nothing Godly about their Church and I am foreve thankful to God that He called us out of that Church. CA has many oppertunities to come out of Her, but He does not.

ProclaimerParticipantThe truth sets us free. Therefore the enemy desires to institutionalise us into a denomination where we are told what to believe. But it is the truth that sets us free and it is the truth that the enemy (and those that work for him) desire to snuff out.

Am I supposed to be on my own? Who do I conversate with? When life starts falling to pieces in the last days, where is my support? I get on good with people but none talk about God. They talk about kids, whats on in town, gardens, sports and weather and so on.
and forums arent the same. Its just all words without faces. And what if computers crap out

People use to fellowship together in their area. We are free to fellowship where possible. In your home, whatever.

The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house. Are we capable of fellowshipping together outside of a man-made institution?
Fellowshipping should be easy. Those that love God will love his children.September 25, 2009 at 9:22 am#158467NickHassan

I should also say that we can find those who love God, if they are not around us. Elijah thought he was the only one left, but there were thousands.September 25, 2009 at 10:05 am#158469Tim Kraft

Hey Karmarie: The old covenant temple and religious ways failed. They were in sin/error. God sent Jesus with his words/spirit/truth to show the correct way to commune with God. Jesus told us the Truth that the Kingdom is within, there are no rituals, feasts, sabbaths, tithing, or works of any kind to get to God. You must believe that God is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently search for him. So in study about God always follow Jesus first, others must align with what Jesus says. You have been offered a free gift from God through the life and teachings of Jesus. You have been made clean and righteous. There are no ties that bind, or chains of bondage or works and rituals to please God. Faith in his finished gift of Jesus is the only requirement. This is the Truth that will make you free. It is such an simplistic gift that many people stumble over the stone which is faith in Jesus. Never the less you are made perfect in Christ Jesus. Now comes the enemy! Wars in the mind! Lies and deceptions against this Truth from people in error will come. This is the great end time war. Its in your mind, a war for Truth against lies and deception. Read the parables of Jesus. Deception(satan) comes immediately to destroy or take away the word that was sown. There is so much more, hold fast to the Truth and live. ParticipantThank you all so much,
It is a struggle, and I do believe it is a spiritual struggle, and I want to seek guidance from higher up people, Orthodox appealed to me cause I could see the bishop and be guided through life spiritually. But theres no orthodox church here. So im only dreaming
And you cant say much on forums cause anyone can read it, thats not good.
But I feel theres alot of sence in what your all saying.September 25, 2009 at 1:33 pm#158471Cato
ParticipantDear Karmarie, If I may be so presumptuous to comment; perhaps your struggle is in a way a good thing, for spiritual transformation is a journey of discovery and truth is more then someone's book. In this struggle you may learn things you may never have had just listening in a church of whatever creed. After your struggles your faith may be much stonger then if you never had doubt or conflict. Thomas Paine once wrote, “What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly”, faith born of struggle I think is firmer then that born of blind acceptance. There is also a saying among mystics that when a student is ready a teacher will come, I hope that will happen for you also. Yet someday looking back you may realize the trip was actually of more value then the destination. Good Luck.

Princess,I think not. You must be “hearing” wrong.
I grew up with CA. I know him as a family man, upholder of the gospel of Jesus Christ, church planter, evangelist …. the list goes on and on. His fruit is evident in his life and what he shares with others. I know his personal testimony and struggle. He is anything BUT a wolf in sheeps clothing!
He just happens to believe in something that you do not, so therefore he must be a wolf – right? Riiiiight.
Continue to call names if you must. But you got this one wrong, Princess. Sigh…… Thanks for the prayers, you're in mine too.

Sis Irene,There have been plenty of times when you have sided with me in showing others a better way. I'm afraid your loyalty shifts depending on your personal conviction.
Just because you do not agree with CA on doctrine does not mean your love of him as our brother should be compromised. Besides, who are we to judge? A wolf, or a bad tree, whatever……the fruit of the person bearing….

MandyI believe your testimony and sense also that CA is sincere in his faith!
Though we disagree in the CC being infallable, we have a lot more in common than not in our faith.

Hi Nick,Jesus said those who do the will of God are his brothers and sisters. Will YOU determine who is doing the will of God? What a task that must be, I'm certainly not up for it.
So I obey Jesus when he says that everything hangs on this: love your neighbor.
Who is my brother? I will answer this question with a question: Who is my neighbor?
