9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.Some seem to think it is a tree of good and evil but a careful reading shows it is about KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.
Nick……….who are the some here that doesn't know that. please tell us who (here) is not smart enough to know that. The Knowledge of good and evil gives us wisdom of right and wrong it is necessary for understanding. or God would never has permitted it in the first place.

nick…………..God told Adam and Eve not to (eat) what do you do when you eat (you take to yourself something), so He was telling them not to take to themselves from the tree , what is a tree symbolic of (that which brings forth from it self) the knowledge of good and evil. now simple put just for you Nick, God was telling them not to eat (take to themselves) the Knowledge produced from them selves of good and evil. Can't get no more simpler then that NICK.

Simple but inaccurate.
They are told not to take into themselves from outside something sounds more accurate.Why is accuracy and alignment with what is written so unimportant to you?
Do you not really think scripture is sacred?.
