There are some who are only comfortable with a teaching role.
Peer relationships reveal their insecurityBut we have one teacher
nteaching is easy ,but being true to the truth of God is another ting

The SpiritJanuary 20, 2018 at 7:02 am#820929NickHassanParticipantHi,
Ed J has said he wants to teach and to steer others towards what he says is the truth using logic and reason.
We are told in scripture that Jesus Christ is our teacher.
Any takers on this new offer?

We ARE TAUGHT BY THE Holy Spirit FROM THE FATHER, “sent to us in the name of JESUS our lord, is the way I read it brother.
Peace and love to you and yours. …..gene

The plan of God is that the Holy Spirit will teach us from within as you show.
But these called to be sons of God must be transformed by the renewal of their minds.
They must be weaned from reliance on logic, human reasoning and following their own instincts.
Paul was back in labor awaiting evidence that the morning star had risen in the hearts of the the Galatians.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the teacher.
He spoke from the anointing of God’s Spirit in him.
Do you agree that to oppose his words is to oppose God?
April 10, 2018 at 7:09 am#822134NickHassanParticipantHi Jodi,
The Spirit of God taught and worked through Jesus Christ.
Do you agree?
April 13, 2018 at 7:00 am#822228NickHassanParticipantHi Jodi,
You say there is no superstition in the words of Jesus Christ and there is no argument there.
You do not blame the manuscripts or the translators but just say that it is his words that are misinterpreted.
But you have yet to explain what you mean and show examples of how the words of the Holy Spirit are misinterpreted.
April 27, 2018 at 3:59 pm#822764NickHassanParticipantHi,
Jn 14.23f
Jesus answered and said to him
’If a man love me, he will keep my words; and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him.
He that love the me not keepeth not my sayings; and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.
These things I have spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father shall send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you’.
Do you wish to be taught by the Teacher?
Read the words, knowing they are of God, and cherish them.
Wherever your treasures are there also your heart will be.
