WHAT IS THE SPIRIT OF THE FLESH?

We are all in this world which God called Babylon the great.
All have our own desires in life.
And this world can accommodate those desires.
There are so many things we can choose from.
Fame; power; glory; riches,and so on.

All these are the spirit of the flesh;what the flesh is lusting for. All these desires are in the hearts of men.
Worldly desires;each his own desire.

This all is the spirit of the flesh.

The spirit of God in some, is the desire to know God.
To seek God,and the rest is second place.
It will be added unto us.
To desire for God is everlasting life.
The desires of the flesh will end;as the world and all in it also will have an end.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

16.Romans 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

17.Romans 8:5
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

18.Romans 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

19.Romans 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

So what is the basis for these foolish assertions?

I dont expect you to understand,the spirit of the flesh.
The spirit of the flesh is after worldly things.
Things you desire in your heart, is your spirit.
It's called the spirit of men,with all the worldly desires.

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received,

but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

To all…….The key is understanding what is meant by the word Spirit. Spirits give us our cognate intellect, if it is from the world, we will think as the world thinks, if it is from above we will think as from above. This is what Jesus when he said , you from below, I am from above he was not talking about his physical as being different then we are, but his mental perceptions were from above IMO.

Yes; it is as simple as that.
The real person is not what he looks like;male or female;
but what he/she is like inside the heart.
what they do, or not do,in their life time.
That will be judged;not the flesh.
And the judge is the *Word of God*.
