    Good post @sonofGod.

We have a body, soul, and spirit. The whole is our being I suppose.

And our spirits bear witness with God’s Spirit that we are the sons of God.

Thus, the Spirit of God is what gives us life eternal. It is this eternal connection with God that gives us eternal life.

yes of cause we have those 3 , body +soul + spirit = us

    the body being the flesh box ,the soul being Us , and our spirit (not God’s spirit ) being our will ,thoughts,desires,actions plans, character,ect;

this is why ;it is the soul that sins will die stands ; and not the flesh or our spirit ;but Jesus says for the our spirit ;MT 5:28 but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

so our hearts is also a container of thoughts but of the deepest ones

    Son of God,

Does breathing into = creating? Does breathing into a balloon make the balloon a living soul? Of course not.

Yes, as it can be a form of mixing. In this case when God mixed the man he made from the soul and the breath he created a living soul. When mix my breath with a empty balloon it then I make a full balloon.

    hi

    to add to my previous comment ;

    2Ti 2:11 Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him, (MY UNDERSTANDING WOULD BE STAY FAITHFUL UNTIL DEAD)
    we will also live with him;
2Ti 2:12 if we endure, (GOING THROUGH OUR OWN TRIBULATION)
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him, (REJECT HIM )
    he will also disown us;
2Ti 2:13 if we are faithless,
    he will remain faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.(THE PROMISE MADE REMAINS IN PLACE )

AND YES ,Kerwin ,good example body + air =a full usable balloon as such ,to bad the balloon still dumb as a fence pole 😉

It is the gift of holy spirit from the Holy Spirit, I John 4:13 that is that incorruptible seed, eternal life spirit.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

    I Peter 1:23

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

It is knowing we have been given this gift of holy spirit/eternal life/ salvation, that we know we have eternal life

    I John 5:13

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God

We are supposed to know now, not after we die, but we are supposed to know now that we have eternal life.

It is God’s will that we know that we have eternal life and that we know it now.

Other wise how could we say we live some blessed life, that our faithfulness to God’s word would mean something, that Jesus’ dying for us means something if we cannot know that we have received what God intended for us to receive, John 3:16

Did not your parents tell you that they were your parents and that you are their child?

Is it love to keep you guessing and wondering who your parents are?

Or is it love for the parent to tell you that you are theirs and that they love you?

That gift of holy spirit, Acts 2:38 is from God I John 4:13, it is eternal life spirit, it is incorruptible, it is perfect from the start and cannot be corrupted because as I John 4:13 God gave us of His Spirit.

Can God be corrupted? Can God get old and die?

Therefore, that which He gave us of His Spirit cannot be corrupted, cannot grow old and die.

We have been given eternal life and God wants us to know now that we have eternal life in us, right now.

    II Timothy 2:
Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him , we shall also live with him :
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him : if we deny him , he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

    Romans 5:14-6:14

Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
    Chapter 6

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him , that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

1Jn 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1Jn 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1Jn 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
1Jn 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
1Jn 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1Jn 4:12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
1Jn 4:13 We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
1Jn 4:15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
1Jn 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

what is your take on the whole set of scriptures here above ?

and what do you think is the SEED mention in;; MT 13:37 And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
MT 13:38 and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one

LK 8:11 “Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God.

As students of the word, we must learn to distinguish between the doctrine of the gospels and the doctrines of the epistles.

    Really? Why sure.

As students of God’s word, we must distinguish between the doctrines given by God to Adam and Eve while they were IN paradise with the doctrines that pertained to them after they were ejected.

We are not in paradise, therefore the doctrines pertaining to those living in paradise ( paradise ceased, and remains so until the new heavens and earth) and those who live outside of paradise.

Likewise we must distinguish between the time after the ejection to the giving of the law of Moses.

There was no written law until Moses, therefore, it was impossible to keep the written law of Moses until then.

The law and the prophets were until John.

Then the presence of the king, Jesus Christ, ushered in the kingdom of heaven when the law was fulfilled.

The law being fulfilled, we are no longer under the law, but under grace….

The gospels describe Jesus Christ’s work in progress.

Paul’s epistles, most notable Romans – Thessalonians describe exactly what is was that Jesus Christ’s completed work accomplished.

Work in progress is one scenario, one set of doctrines.

Completed work requires a different set of doctrine.

For example, assembling an automobile is one set of rules, rules of proper and exact assembly

Acquiring the completed auto and driving off with it requires a different set of rules, ie, owner’s manual and rules of the road.

Likewise, we, as Christians are not assembling nor earning our salvation, Jesus Christ did that for us

We as Christians have the joy and privilege of living in and by our salvation and grace

We, as Christians, learn to appreciate that grace and gift of salvation by learning from the gospels what it took for Jesus Christ to pay the price that we could receive it freely.

That gift of salvation cost God the life of His son, most certainly, the least we could do is learn to use that most wisely for the glory of God.

    T,

There was a change between the time of the told of in the five gospels and the time of the letters(epistles). Between those two times the new covenant came into effect signed by the sacrifice of Jesus, empowered by the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, and mediated by Jesus who is in heaven sitting on his throne.

I am not sure that is what son of God is speaking of.

All scriptures are inspired by God. Gospels and epistles, and prophecy.

It is our deeds that will be judged.
Our deeds meaning the essence of our life time works.
    Our souls will be judged.

The spirit of the flesh will cease at death.
The breath of life will go back to God.
The flesh will go to the grave.
Our works will be judged according to the books, for some.
True christians will be judged according to mercy.

    T,

God tells you there will be a new covenant. The first four books of the New Testament were written to bear witness that Jesus is the Christ. They also speak of the new covenant to come and address how to live a righteous life. Before the councilor was sent a believer could only be credited with righteousness. Afterwards that same believer could choose to walk according to the Spirit.

The gospels are historical accounts so that we could be more certain of our faith.

    Luke 1:2
1 Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us,
2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word,
    3 it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus;

The Bible contains prophecy which can only come from God. It says “thus saith YHWH”.
It also contains the reactionary words of the observer. We often hear things like: “I then saw…”.
And it contains accounts and eye witness accounts such as the gospels.

When we say it is all scripture, what does that mean.

Did God use men to write similar to automatic writing.

Does it mean that because of God, men were inspired to write down accounts and also to pen word for word that which God told them to write. This is my view at least.

Are you trying to divide the church even more?
Are you starting a new one? Where did you get that idea from?
Jesus taught the apostles with the HS in Him, even before He was crucified.
The apostles wrote the epistles inspired by the HS; The same HS.
Who is our teacher now Kerwin? Is it not the HS?
All scriptures are inspired by the same HS.There is only one spirit of truth, one HS.
