    Hi BD,
Should it do so for your sake?
Jesus instead gave it as a sign of his resurrection.

    Hi BD,
Only two in scripture have been said to have been to Hades and returned to their natural bodies.
    Jonah and Jesus.

Actually, I won't be unfair and set you up because I love you too much for that:

    Job 33:29-31 (King James Version)

29Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,

30To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

    Psalm 30:2-4 (Young's Literal Translation)

2Jehovah my God, I have cried to Thee, And Thou dost heal me.

3Jehovah, Thou hast brought up from Sheol my soul, Thou hast kept me alive, From going down [to] the pit.

I guess this should be enough proof

Does not mean he did not eventually die.

So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens [be] no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep. O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! If a man die, shall he live [again]? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands. Job 14:12-15

For I know [that] my redeemer liveth, and [that] he shall stand at the latter [day] upon the earth: And [though] after my skin [worms] destroy this [body], yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; [though] my reins be consumed within me. Job 19:25:27

For I know [that] thou wilt bring me [to] death, and [to] the house appointed for all living. Job 30:23

All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Ecclesiastes 3:20

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27

    Hi BD,
So the power of God prevents men from dying and going to the pit.
His saving healing powers are often shown among men in many diverse ways.
Job knew he would die like most men but he did not die during the time of his severe testing

    Hi BD,
Jesus died and in the living Spirit of God went to the pit to preach to the spirits in that prison which could not hold him or Jonah..[1Peter3]

    That was psalms 30:2-4

And I was just showing you how Jonah was alive once you understand that you will start to understand how Jesus could have not died although he did lay down his life.

    Hi BD,
Jesus died and in the living Spirit of God went to the pit to preach to the spirits in that prison which could not hold him or Jonah..[1Peter3]

    1Peter3

18because also Christ once for sin did suffer — righteous for unrighteous — that he might lead us to God, having been put to death indeed, in the flesh, and having been made alive in the spirit,

19in which also to the spirits in prison having gone he did preach,

    20who sometime disbelieved, when once the long-suffering of God did wait, in days of Noah — an ark being preparing — in which few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water;

That's one witness is there another verse anywhere that backs this up or was it a metaphor sinced they were not saved by water but by the Ark(Even by the Ark of the covenant)

Also if Christ “Died” Scriptures say the dead know nothing
So if he was dead for 3 days he would not be able to do what you said.

Now learn the Wisdom of Islam

1 Kings 3:19-27 (English Standard Version)
19And this woman’s son died in the night, because she lay on him. 20And she arose at midnight and took my son from beside me, while your servant slept, and laid him at her breast, and laid her dead son at my breast. 21When I rose in the morning to nurse my child, behold, he was dead. But when I looked at him closely in the morning, behold, he was not the child that I had borne.” 22But the other woman said, “No, the living child is mine, and the dead child is yours.” The first said, “No, the dead child is yours, and the living child is mine.” Thus they spoke before the king.

23Then the king said, “The one says, 'This is my son that is alive, and your son is dead'; and the other says, 'No; but your son is dead, and my son is the living one.'” 24And the king said, “Bring me a sword.” So a sword was brought before the king. 25And the king said, “Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one and half to the other.” 26Then the woman whose son was alive said to the king, because(A) her heart yearned for her son, “Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and by no means put him to death.” But the other said, “He shall be neither mine nor yours; divide him.” 27Then the king answered and said, “Give the living child to the first woman, and by no means put him to death; she is his mother.”

Study that really hard and understand. The living Jesus never died

    Hi BD,
Your trust in humanistic instinct does not outweigh the revealed truth.
    He died.

    Acts 3.15
Is your ignorance greater than the witness of Peter and the brothers?

    Acts 3:15 (King James Version)

15And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.
    Matthew 26:55-57

And they all forsook him, and fled.
    Mark 14:49-51

    What exactly did they see?

Which of the apostles do you think doubted whether Jesus had died or are these just your islamic doubts?

BD…….Jesus out of his own mouth said He was (DEAD) so do you just throw that out of scripture to fit you ideologies. Using the account of Salomon and the women with the bady, has nothing to do with Jesus' death account. But a demonstration of the wisdom of Salomon.IMO

No one has to be a liar to be a witness according to what they remember or what has been reported to them that happened. They are the gospels according to….

O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.
    Galatians 3:1-3

How in the world did the galatians see Jesus crucified?

So you claim to know more than those who lived with him till his death?
