    Hi Jodi,

When you try to make the wisdom of God conform to the logic of men it does not work.

Let the Spirit who wrote it through men teach you.

    Hi Jodi,

    John 13.2

During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the Son of Simon,

to betray him, Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands,

and that he had come forth from God and was going back to God, got up from supper

and laid aside his garments; and taking a towel, he girded himself.

    Jn 13.26

..So when he had dipped the morsel, he took and gave it to Judas, the Son of Simon Iscariot.

After the morsel, Satan then entered into him. Therefore Jesus said to him

    ’What you do, do quickly’

    Lk 22.3

And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, belonging to the number of the twelve.

Sin was waiting at the door.

    hi nick,

chiming in here on your writings

When you try to make the wisdom of God conform to the logic of men it does not work.

Let the Spirit who wrote it through men teach you.

so the logic of men never interfered during the time when men were writing it through the spirit.

    your too funny nick.

like the way your thinking though!!!! we can blame it on the men. wonderful news! eve is reprieved!

Numbers 22:22 But God was angry * because he was going, and the angel of the LORD took his stand in the way as an adversary against him. Now he was riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him. 23 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand, the donkey turned off from the way and went into the field; but Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back into the way. 24 Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path of the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side. 25 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she pressed herself to the wall and pressed Balaam’s foot against the wall, so he struck her again. 26 The angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn to the right hand or the left. 27 When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam was angry * and struck the donkey with his stick. 28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

Nick there is a huge difference between GOD causing a donkey to speak for a moment verses the idea that He created another creature on earth with an intellect similar to humans and the ability to speak, such as a serpent. Obviously He could have made any creature with the ability to have a higher intellect like man, but did He?

You are such a cop out!…and how ironic that you brought up a passage where God’s angel is referred to as a satan (saw-tawn) adversary.

Is it not clear that the question to Eve by the serpent came OUT of the serpents OWN craftiness? Scripture clearly says “through HIS subtilty.”

You say though, against scripture, that it wasn’t the serpent’s own craftiness…..correct? ….But honestly, how would I know what you think because you are a cop out.

If you believe that this adversary is a creature of God and has an intellect that can rebel against God out of his own desires, wouldn’t it also be LIKEWISE that God’s other creatures such as MAN, also having an intellect, could rebel against God from his own desires?

Do you see the problem you have here?

as the serpent beguiled Eve THROUGH HIS subtilty” ….direct quote from scripture!

    Because thou hast done this”

“the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field”

I am made to repeat myself when you choose to cop out.

You CONTINUE to cop out on James, who says “EVERY man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust’.

    Hi Jodi,

Of course you would find wriggle room.

But God can allow serpents and donkeys to talk.

    Hi Jodi,

Yes man is born with lusts.

    But Adam wasn’t.

    Wasn’t born either.

    Hi Jodi,

I do not have all the answers.

I am surprised that you seem to believe you have.

    Nonsense.

    We are all students

Nick you said, “Yes man is born with lusts. But Adam wasn’t. Wasn’t born either.”

So Adam and Eve were puppets, robots?????

They did not have an individual intellect? They DID NOT have their OWN DESIRES?

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat, .

EVE SINNED because of her OWN DESIRE to be wise, and her own DESIRE for the FRUIT that looked good for food.

4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting*: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: 6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

Eve’s DESIRE and the Israelites LUST are the same word, Transliterated Word Ta’avah

Eve’s LUST for wisdom DREW her to BREAK God’s commandment. The Israelites lust for better food made them ungrateful to God.

A DESIRE can be good or evil, our desire can tempt us to SIN, to break God’s law, to commit acts of selfishness that cause evil works.

Adam and Eve were BOTH created having DESIRES, and they were both ignorant, and they both had an imagination.

Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by NATURE the children of wrath, even as others.

Eve put the desire that came from her OWN mind ABOVE God.

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

LUST    Transliterated Word    Epithumia     Definition:      desire, craving, longing, desire for what is forbidden, lust

Eve ATE OF the FORBIDDEN FRUIT because she was tempted and drawn away by her OWN DESIRE.

Proverbs 1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

Nick did I NOT SAY RECENTLY that I found MYSELF in ERROR?? Yes in FACT I did, you must have missed that, otherwise you wouldn’t make such false accusation.

    Nick,

Why were the Pharisees called   “33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers,” by Jesus?

Was it because they were acting like NATURAL wild beasts, only serving themselves?

Or was it because they were influenced by another one of God’s creatures from outside the Creation of Genesis?

    simple question

Nick, can you admit that God created Adam to have his own desires?

Can man be led away from God through his own desires, and his desires alone?

    Hi Jodi,

You seem to struggle with the idea that because Satan has a meaning

which can be applied to men that it can also be the name of a being.

    Why is this?

Eve would have done what she did without the influence of the serpent?

    Not according to scripture.

    Hi Jodi,

Men are now led by their own desires.

The heart of man has been corrupted by the serpent.

I know you prefer to follow your imagination on this but “Thy Word is truth”

    Hi Jodi,

    Brood of vipers?

He was just speaking the truth.

As Jews they could claim they were sons of God.

But  to God the real meaning of FATHER is different and they followed their true father, the devil.

The whole world is under the power of the evil one.

So they were and are not not unique,

    Nothing has changed.

    Hi Jodi,

So the Spirit of God taught Bezazel in Ex 31 how to do craftsmanship in metal.

And Azazel in Enoch taught men to do similar things.

Yet you somehow find blasphemy here?

    Self serving imagination perhaps?

    Hi Jodi,

    Gen 3.33

Then the Lord God said to the woman

“What is this you have done?”

    And the woman said,

”The serpent deceived me, and I ate”.

    Desire?

    v 36

”Yet your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you”

    Hi princess,

“Eat my flesh and drink my blood”

defies logic and most walked away

    hi nick,

no, it really doesn’t nick. very logical to understand a sentence. statement, subject, verb, conjunction, quotation.

now once you get the back story to the sentence, you create a mental imagine (or icon). this is where the is it literal, physical or spiritual parts come in (pick from one of the three) kinda falls into the triad belief theory.

there is though a ritual that reflects this hum……but in no way is it really eating flesh and drinking  blood of a godman/mangod. isn’t there a passage before or after that states before you can preform the ritual you cannot be holding a grudge or something to that sort. wow, once a year at least you get time to prepare.

when you speak to another, images are sub consciously created. you can actually think the whole thing through, take the crucifixion.

you do not present flesh & blood to be universal, you give it to one, a godman/mangod to be shared with humanity, but only to the ones who believe in the godman/mangod.

in short, your thoughts, words, imagines are all from one book, the book of men who had no logic while writing, while placing the books in order, adding a few passages, taking a few away, keep this author, taking this author away.

    just illogical isn’t it.

    Hi princess,

So the end of your doubts is emptiness?

No the answers are also written.

Man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matt 4

For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God. Jn 3
