Yes nick.Knowledge does make us stay away from doing evil,and this keeps us clean,and if we sin,God will forgive,for he knows the flesh.
I see many so called christians on holydays in a foreign country visiting temples of false gods,and bow down to them.
and sometimes even burning incence sticks.(just for fun,they think).
This they do because they dont know that it is a no no in the eyes of God.(knowledge).Do not even put a foot in such places.

Conscience is more helpful but it can be seared.

Faith only comes by hearing of the word.
All the word;the prophesies included.
A strong foundation is important,in the days of strong
temptations.Like refusing the mark of the beast, and suffer
hunger and persecutions.

Dont forget they are all spirit creatures appearing as men.
