Nick……..So say you but what do you know, when you can't even understand “WHAT IS WRITTEN” in the first place. Nor do you even know what GNOSTICISM IS, or you would not even have said that. IMO

Kerwin……….A WORD (IS) THE EXPRESSION OF ONES INTELLECT and it is the intellect of the person if it is (HIS) own WORDS, If it is GOD'S WORDS then its the EXPRESSION GOD'S INTELLECT. The WORD OF GOD IS THE EXPRESSION OF HIS INTELLECT TO US. Jesus said the (WORDS) he was telling US (ARE) SPIRIT and LIFE and He also said the WORDS WERE NOT HIS WORDS, BUT THE FATHERS WORDS>The words of GOD (ARE) TRUTH and if these are recieved into you GOD is CAUSING that to Happen. If not then you don't have the eyes to see nor the ears to hear and therefore are non of HIS, and all the trying in the world on you so called (FREE WILL) Part wouldn't change that. If GOD has blinded you or allowed you to be blind you can not perceive his truths. You will remain blind until he changes it. The intellect of Truth and the Word of truth are the same thing, the WORDS are the EXPRESSION of that TRUTH. Nothing confusing about it, to some one who understands. Hope this resolved your confusion. IMO

If you mean the Spirit is an expression of God's intellect then you should say that and not that the Spirit is God's intellect because God does not give us his intellect. He may give us an expression of his intellect but I have not yet tested that idea.
Kerwin……….When you speak it is an expression of (your) intellect and when GOD speaks it is an expression of (His) intellect also. No difference…….IMO

Nick…….Now what makes you think Intellect does not motivated your Heart, or (GODLY INTELLECT) is without (GODLY LOVE) , why do you think they are apart anyway Intellect is the complete being not just part of it. If i were to take all you intellect away from you, you would be a zombie without any Heart or anything. Emotion is not apart from intellect in fact they work together. Here is an example, let say you see a child with a serious handicap are you not emotional effected? yes you are, why because you have no intellect? No because your intellect shows you this condition and it effects your heart. You can't have one without the other. Because Paul used that as a analogy does not mean that is the way it is, He was Just making a point that love is greater then Just Knowledge, which i also agree, but to assume that knowledge is always apart from Love is pure foolishness. Sorrow (a emotion) is the product of Knowledge, our Intellect includes Love its all part of our complete being, To believe like you are saying is total illogical . IMO
