Hebrews 3:1-6:
1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house. 3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. 5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, 6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
Verse 3 says that the glory of Christ is the glory of the builder. Verse 4 says that the builder is God. Therefore, Christ is God or He receives equal glory with God.

So Jesus was faithful and appointed by the Builder God?
i agree and you will find it also shown in 1Cor3.It will be quite a relief to you when you realise you do not need to work so hard to find scriptural support, for God's doctrines are plain.

Read the text Nick. It says that the glory of Christ is the glory of the builderQuote For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house. 4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God It clearly says that Jesus is “counted worthy” of the glory and honor of the builder. It is better for you that you count Jesus worthy than to hold on to your Arian traditions.

Because of your false trinity foundation you are so prone to confusing the Father with His Son.
God built the house. The God anointed one, Jesus, is appointed as a Son over his house just as Moses was appointed over his.
Moses built no such house and neither did the Son of God.July 20, 2009 at 11:51 am#138157PaladinParticipantQuote (thethinker @ July 20 2009,06:16) Hebrews 3:1-6: 1 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, 2 who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.

I know now why you are a trinitarian. You do not read what is in front of you.The comparaison between building a house, and building all things is evident from the reference material, but you mix them instead of comparing them.
God built all things; Jesus built a house, whose house we are.

If God built all things then Christ cannot be counted worthy of the glory of the builder of anything at all. Yet it says that He is “counted worthy” of the glory of the builder of the house. The “house” that Christ builds is the people of God the Church. Therefore, God built everything but the church. So God does NOT build all things. Unless the author meant to imply that Jesus is God.

Gene,
So when the author to the Hebrews said that Christ is “counted worthy” of the glory of the builder He was lying? And Jesus was lying when He said “I will build MY church.” Notice that He did not say that God will build His church. He said “I will build MY church.”The church is Christ's and He Himself builds it. So when it says that He is “counted worthy” of the glory of the builder it means exactly that. It means that He has equal honor and glory with God.
