I think that implication was unintentional which is why I supplied the question I thought you meant and then answered that question instead. My answer is what I wanted you to respond to though I assume you already know that soul is used for the person in the phrase the soul that sins is the soul that dies much like it is the person that dwells in the tent of the body.

The soul is the essential human being and humanity does not have the means to kill the soul. Only God has the means.

I made three points in that one post. what point are you objecting to?
1) The soul is the essential human being. What I mean is the the soul is the core part of the human being. My evidence is Scripture states the soul that sin, Ezekiel 18:20, and “we have put on our heavenly house” and “we will not be found naked.”, 2 Corinthians 5:3.
2) Humanity does not have the means to kill the soul, Matthew 10:28.
3) God does have the means to kill the soul, Matthew 10:28.
I may as clear as I meant to be as it would have been clearer if I literally wrote the word part after both the words essential and core. Other than that I can not think how to clarify what I am saying.

why would the soul die if it does not sin like christ and his apostles ? why are some souls in heaven and not others ?
and what the heavenly house has to do with a soul?

The soul who sins is the soul who will die. It is not speaking of those whose body only will be destroyed but rather it is speaking of those whose soul will be destroyed as well.
Paul refers to his body as the tent we live in. The soul is the one living in that tent as is the spirit; but God does not say the spirit that sins in the spirit that will die. Instead we are taught to get a new spirit. We are not taught to get either a new soul or a new body. The new body will be given to those that believe when the Son of humanity comes again.

I do not believe the soul starts as a blank state though it is plausible that a person starts with a fairly primitive personality as even a baby reveals some personality.
To all……..All souls die, because all souls have sinned, and when they die the are parished, the only one who can recreate us is God himself, so he is the final desider of, will we live or not, he can simply leave a person in the grave forever and that person would never live again.
To think a person is still alive after he dies is pure false teachings, no soul still exist after a person dies. GOD CAN NOT LIE AND WHEN HE SAID THE SOUL THAT SINS IT, “WILL” DIE, AND SENSE ALL HAVE SINED, ALL WILL DIE .
YOU ARE NOT STILL A LIVE WHEN YOU DIE. YOUR SOUL IS THE COMPLETE YOU AND WHEN IT DOES YOU DIE.

Souls do not die the first death or Scripture would teach us human beings have the power to destroy both the body and soul. Scripture instead states God reserves that power for himself and he will only destroy both bodies in souls when he throws an individual in the lake of fire.
