Mike,
How many theos do we need to believe in and know and serve for our eternal salvation according to scripture?October 7, 2012 at 6:36 pm#315104terrariccaParticipantQuote (Ed J @ Oct. 08 2012,07:24) Quote (terraricca @ Oct. 07 2012,05:47) Quote (Ed J @ Oct. 07 2012,12:38) Quote (mikeboll64 @ Oct. 07 2012,03:25) Quote (terraricca @ Oct. 05 2012,22:59) Wen David was chosen and anointed by the prophet was he the new king or was he not
And yet he did not ruled as one ,right Yes
Good point, Pierre. Christ was born the savior of the world, although his actions as an infant hadn't yet saved anyone.
Hi Mike,Yes, follow through on this logic, Jesus OFFICIALLY
became “The Christ” at his baptism with God's “HolySpirit”.

Omnipresent
edjQuote Omnipresent omnipresent [ˌɒmnɪˈprɛzənt]
adj
(esp of a deity) present in all places at the same time
omnipresence ndo you understand this if you do explain it to me
October 9, 2012 at 7:01 pm#315430mikeboll64BlockedIt doesn't take a rocket scientist to refute the man-made theory of God's omnipresence.
If God was truly “everywhere all the time”, then there would exist nothing that wasn't God.
For example, if God is everywhere, then He is in the space occupied by my nose, and therefore my nose would be God.
If there is no separation between what IS God, and what IS NOT God, then everyone and everything is God. And if God was truly omnipresent, then there is no way a separation could exist, and therefore God would be all things, and all things would be God.

You can't answer the question can you?
Oh, I can easily answer your question, Kathi. But will you be willing to answer mine once I answer yours? The answer to your question is “TWO”, God Almighty and His holy SERVANT Jesus Christ – whom God sent into the world to die as His sacrificial Lamb to atone for the sins of mankind.
I can also point out the many other gods the Israelites needed to believe in, know, and serve for their salvation throughout history. Such as the god Moses, and the god Deborah, and the god Samuel, etc. Not to mention the spiritual gods that Jehovah sent to the prophets (the ones we normally call “angels”).
So to nip your point in the bud, does being told by Jehovah to obey a different god who represents His interests equate that representative to the Almighty God he represents? YES or NO?
(When you're done answering this last question, be so kind as to also answer my question in the quote box above.)

Mike,
Finally you admit that there are two theos that we are to know, to believe in, to honor and to serve for our eternal salvation. That's great!!Praise the Father
Praise the SonYou asked who we are to worship…Jehovah who is the God of gods (the Almighty Father) and the Lord of lords (the Almighty Son).
October 10, 2012 at 4:37 am#315466LightenupParticipantMike,
2 kings 17:35
When the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites, he commanded them: “Do not worship any other gods or bow down to them, serve them or sacrifice to them.Jehovah who is the God of gods (the Almighty Father) and the Lord of lords (the almighty Son) never commands us to bow down or serve other gods.
October 10, 2012 at 4:42 am#315467LightenupParticipantMike,
Quote does being told by Jehovah to obey a different god who represents His interests equate that representative to the Almighty God he represents? YES or NO? Nope, only the Son is equal to the Father in nature of whom He represents. No body else.
