    Hi KJ,
You look at scripture with worldly eyes and wonder why you cannot align things?
So you have to speculate and imagine realities intellectually.
Satan's hold was loosened at the coming of the king.

Join the kingdom and begin to crush him under your feet too.
If you are not with us you are against us.
    No prizes for being clever.

But there are for those servants joining the battle against the principalities and powers on high.

    Totally evasive!

    Hi KJ,
You have made your intellect your god and the words you write are relevant only to maintaining your divinity.
We do not serve your god nor join in the misuse of scripture needed to support him.

Your empty can replies seem to be your god. Jesus said that the judgment upon the prince of this world was NOW. The order of events is this: binding, loosing, judgment, punishment (in the lake of fire).

If the judgment was “now” when Jesus spoke, then the binding was past, the loosing was near its end, and the punishment was soon to come. No “intellect” needed. Just common sense.

It's common sense that satan must be in the lake of fire. The opposite of common sense is denial.

    Hi KJ,
Yes you have no sense of spiritual timing.
Your presumptions about dates do not fit with conmmonsense or reality

You're right about that. I have no idea what “spiritual” timing is? Does this mean that the 1,000 years in Revelation 20 is also “spiritual”?

You are not a very good apologist for the futurist position.

    Hi KJ,
    What does scripture say?
How does scripture look at time?
It is never according to dictionaries and logic

JK……..Jesus did destory the strong hold of Satan (an adversarial Intellect) that resides in the heart of Man, by the Spirit of GOD, this adversarial spirit was also in Him, He put it to death by the Power of GOD , so he did destory satans domain and it was in Him as in all men , so from that stand point satans kingdom or domain was destroyed , it did not prevail in Jesus, it's grip on humanity was broken by the power of GOD (Holy Spirit) that man could now recieve and this power destroys the adversarial grip on men. IMO

You are on your own with that statement.

And people should rightly be suspicious of anyone that says that Satan is not actively tempting and deceiving.

Satans power has been limited, that isnt to say we arent at the time when the World is decieved, or about to be..in Revelation 20:7.. “Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them”.

Evil is in the world, and always has been. People make up their own minds, to sin or not, God said to Cain, (Genesis 4:6-7)..”Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”

The quotes I post are Amillenial, which probably the majority of Christianity believe also.

    k,

Satan is already in the lake of fire. The Revelation says that the ANCIENT serpent was bound for thousands of years. This was the serpent who tempted Adam and Eve.
He has already been judged and cast into the lake of fire.

We are in the new earth, this, the eternal new covenant age. Satan has no power in the new covenant age.

    t8,

What do you mean I am “on my own”? Preterism is the fastest growing movement in Christendom right now. People have believed that Jesus is “coming soon” for two thousand years. They are starting to wake up. They will believe that He is coming “soon” for only so long.

The apostle John was told that the fulfillment of the visions he saw were “AT HAND.” Jesus used the same expression when he said, “He who betrays me is at hand.” So “at hand” means NEAR in time. John was told that the fulfillment of the things he saw were “at hand.” This included the judgment and punishment of satan.

Satan had been bound throughout the entire old testament period. The church was at the end the “little season” of satan's loosing when the Revelation was written. The time was “at hand” for satan to be punished. He is now and forever in the lake of fire.

    Hi KJ,
Yes sin is certainly taking over the earth.
The god of this earth has blinded most.

    No Nick,

Sin today has its sole origin in man. Satan himself has been cast into the lake of fire.

So satan is not the source of sin. He is in the lake of fire.
