    Hi Mrs,
    I agree.
    Out of=after

Nick…………..It just says out of great tribulation. The Definite article (the) is not there. We all can live in great tribulation at times in our lives so this Scripture in Rev 7:14 does not necessarily mean a particular tribulation . IMO

    G,
    Acts 14:22
strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, ” Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

    Romans 5:3
    And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;

    Hebrews 10:33
partly by being made a public spectacle through reproaches and tribulations, and partly by becoming sharers with those who were so treated.

The great tribulation is the harvest of the earth when only the wheat remains.

    Hi ED,
Those who are in Christ and those who are wakened at his return are raised in the first resurrection to meet him in the air.

    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for the clarification!
So you call the resurrection his return?   …is that right?

    Hi ED,
They are at the same time, but different in nature.

He does not come to earth itself till later.

    Gene.

We go through tribulations in our life, but there is the great tribulation.
The false prophet will go after all the true believers, put them in camps and some he will kill.
Then comes the assault on israel; then comes the standing up of the medes(iran and his dominion.(muslems)and the king of the north(russia??).

Then the 3rth ww wil start, then the appearing of the lord;that will stop the war,and they will all come together to war against the lamb.

All this is the great tribulation.

    wakeup.

    Hi all,

Millions believe in their version of Christ and believe they are going up to meet the Lord in the air.

Here is an old testament type of those few that go up.

Two million people left Egypt with Moses.  These people all believed the Lord would save them, just like all the millions today that believe they will go up in the rapture.  Yet only two of these two million crossed over into the promise land.

In one sense DE is correct, millions today have been deceived by their churches to believe in a mass catching away.  The truth is that the rapture will be a secret catching away and there will be very few alive persons taken.

Most of the millions of Christians have taken the broad path to salvation and are deceived.
MAT 7:14 † Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

    The broad path leads to this;
REV 3:17 † Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

This scripture says it best about this last seventh church age,  the people believe they are just right with God and they have no idea that they are poor, blind, naked, and wretched.
For these people, Jesus said it best, because you say you see, you are still in your sins.

The catching away of the bride will not be a GREAT BIG EVENT, it will be very small and most people will go on waiting for the rapture to come and it will have already been done.

    God Bless
    Marlin

    Hi Keras,
I see in your teachings you do not believe that the saved will be taken up to meet the Lord in the air.
Why would you reject this biblical teaching?

    5.1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

    Hi,
    From Keras's site
“To hold onto beliefs that do not have solid Bible support, like looking to the Return of Jesus as the next event, or a 'rapture' out of this world, is a serious error and may result in some disadvantage for you. The attitude of “I trust in the Lord for protection” is correct, but barely adequate when He has given us so much warning and information. The actual end times events will surprise and shock those who didn't bother to gain understanding, even though they will dramatically affect everyone.”

    Hi,
Keras does not believe in God rescuing his people so they can meet with the Lord in the air.
That is why he has a survival bunker at home.

How ever, in John 17. Jesus prayed that the church “be not taken from the world (meaning planet) but kept from the evil”

Also the word that is translated to air in thesolonians is neuma,(air) which can be also with as much validation be translated, spirit, cloud, breath and wind.  if you replace air with spirit, Paul says when he appears we shall be like him. So, that puts an end to a rapture!!!!!!!.  The best thing to do is do as jesus said and watch. so if there is one, even though you don’t believe in it you will go anyway.
