    Hi BD,

You say you accept Jesus words, that is unless of course the 'book of fraud' differs, which FOR YOU trumps even Jesus' own words.

“For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men,
and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.” (Mark 9:31)

“The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men,
and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” (Luke 24:7)

“And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge,
and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.” (Matt 20:19)

WHICH PROVES THAT the quran IS 100% UNTRUE!

    Ed (witness)

Okay ED, Jesus said accordng to the scriptures:

    Matthew 12:40
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Was Jesus in the tomb a third night? Yes or No

    Hi BD,

Is this yet another distraction? Do you believe that Jesus died
for him to be in the tomb for ANY length of time – “Yes” or “No” ?

    One step at a time.

    Hi BD

We been through this before, but you probably don't remember as you do NOT believe the bible.

Jesus died around 3:00PM (called the 9th hour),
they needed to get Jesus BURIED before dark,
which is at 7:30 – 8:00PM at that time of year.

Lets say they put Jesus in the tomb at around 6:30PM.             (<– Dead for 3½ hours now)

6:30PM the next day would be one day and one night.              (<– DAY 1)

6:30PM the next day would be two days and two nights.           (<– DAY 2)

Lets say YHVH resurrects Jesus at 5:30PM on the third day.       (<– DAY 3)
Jesus would be resurrected ON THE THIRD DAY. and he would have spent
3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. But you don't believe any of it anyway.

he would have risen during daylight as
5:30 PM is still daytime “on” the third day.

    Mark 15
40 There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome; 41 (who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.

42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath, 43 Joseph of Arimathæa, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus. 44 And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. 45 And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. 46 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre. 47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.

    Mark 16

    Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

16 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. 2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

These verses show that after the event there was only ONE DAY in between

42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, 9the day before the sabbath,

16 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Now, who tries to annoint the dead after 3 days? NO ONE!

Can you now admit wht you just read according to the scriptures the women on the day of the “crucifixion” fallowed the people to where thy laid Jesus and after the sabbath which was th next day came to annoint Jesus while it was yet dark. This entire episode was more like a little over 24 hours if you are being honest about it.

    SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR:

HE WAS A FULL DAY  IN THE GRAVE STAURDAY  6.00 IN THE EVENING! THE SECOND DAY

HE RAISED HIMSELF UP ON THE FOLLOWING EARLY MORNING  OF THE 3RD. DAY  3.00 A.M

HE ANTICIPATED THE TIME SIMPLY BECAUSE HE DIED AT 3.00 ON FRIDAY!

SO THE ABOVE IS PERFECT ON TIME REGARDING JESUS RESURRECTION, OR RATHER MORE APPROPRIATE: SPIRITUALIZED HIS BODY!  A PROCESS WHICH STARTED WELL BEFORE HIS PASSION!

SO HE BECAME TOTALLY ONE UNIQUE BEING IN SPIRIT AND FLESH BODY!

NOW HIS SOUL THE HOLY SPIRIT

THE FIRST NIGHT FRIDAY AT 6.00

THE SECOND NIGHT SATURDAY AT 6.00

THE THIRD NIGHT SUNDAY AT 6.00

    PERFECT THREE NIGHTS

    CONFIRMATION

    JOHN 20:

17 Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father.

    THE FIRST PROOF:

ascended to IS DEFINITELY NOT  JESUS ASCENDED TO HEAVEN TO BE PRAISED IN ANY WAY BY  HIS FATHER,  BUT:

ASCENDED IN THE POWER OF THE FATHER !

    WORD STUDIES

TO:  4314 prós (a preposition) – properly, motion towards to “interface with” (literally, moving toward a goal or destination).

    4314 /prós (“towards, with”) indicates “extension toward a goal, with implied interaction or reciprocity (L & N, 1, 84.18), with “presumed contact and reaction” (L & N, 1, 84.23). 4314 (prós) naturally suggests the cycle of initiation and response (L-N, 1,90.25, 90.33).

[4314 (prós) can mean “in view of,” or “in light of, but never “against,” except where the context indicates an active exchange (interface) done in opposition.

OBVIOUS WITH THE UNIFICATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, HIS SOUL, WHICH WAS STILL IN HELL GLORIFIED IN THE FLESH BODY, PREACHING THE GOSPEL TO ALL THOSE SOULS WHO WERE  BORN THROUGH ADAM!

But go to my brethren, and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.

SECOND PROOF CONFIRMATION BY JESUS THAT HE EVENTUALLY WOULD BE IN FULL  POWER OF THE FATHER,  AFTER 6.00 THAT SAME EVENING!

19Now when it was late that same day,

THE THIRD PROOF LATE THAT SAME DAY

    THEREFORE AFTER 6.00

    THEREFORE THREE NIGHTS PERFECT

the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: Peace be to you.

    THE MOST IMPORTANT:

JESUS  CONFIRMED HIS SUPERIOR STATE WITH THE UNIFICATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND BECAME THE ONLY TRUE GOD IN BOTH SPIRIT, AND FLESH BODY

WHERE EARLIER JESUS INSTRUCTED MAGDALENE NOT TO TOUCH HIM, OBVIOUS HE HAD NO POWER TO PROTECT HER SINCE SHE WAS A MORTAL PERSON!

THIS TIME,HE ENTERRED THROUGH STONE WALLS AND REVEALED HIMSELF IN THE MIDST OF THEM.  HE NEVER ACTUALLY BOTHERRED REGARDING ANYONE TOUCHES HIM!

He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you. 22When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost.

AS THE FATHER HAD SENT ME:

OBVIOUS AS SOON AS THE HOLY SPIRIT UNITED WITH JESUS, THE FATHER DIRECTED JESUS TO THEM!

SO NO DOUBT REGARDING JESUS’ UNIFICATION WITH THE HOLY GHOST SINCE HE HIMSELF GAVE THE DISCIPLES THE HOLY GHOST THROUGH HIS BREATH

THE SAME THING GOD DID TO ADAM!

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

    Hi Boditharta

Jesus was captured on a thursday evening. As soon as this happened, he was in the hands of death.

    Okay.

    Quote
    Night 1 – thurs evening
    Night 2 – fri evening
    Night 3 – sat evening
    3 NIGHTS

    Okay

    Quote
    Day 1 – Friday
    Day 2 – Sat
Day 3 – Sun (risen on the 3rd day, in the morning)
    3 DAYS

So he wasn't in the tomb the third day because he rose from it? we both agree that he wasn't in the tomb Thursday night, right?

So was the Prophecy Jonah about th time or the condition?

Jesus says “AS WAS” Jonah. Jonah ddn't die he was alive the whole time he was in the whale

I take it literally that Jesus died on what to us is Wed. evening near sunset,(the very time that the lamb was slain for Passover). For the Israelites one day changed to another at sunset, so Jesus was dead starting with 24 hours of Thursday (annual Sabbath), 24 hours of Friday (prepared the spices and waited for the 3 day “seal” to expire), and 24 hours of Saturday (the weekly Sabbath), the resurrection occurred what for us would be Saturday evening near sunset. This had Jesus dead at the 3 days and 3 nights just as He had proclaimed as the only sign to be given.

    My opinion – Wm

Okay, so he didn't rise ON the third day, he rose after the third day?

If Jesus was raised on Saturday towards evening He would have spent 3 days in the earth and yet of raised on the third day.
