For the LORD is a great God And a great King above all gods,

In whose hand are the depths of the earth, The peaks of the mountains are His also.

The sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.…

    Hi,

And our great God enabled the words and works of Jesus Christ, the apostles and prophets.

His Spirit created all and sustains all.

    It is all about God.

Amen. He sent his son into the world. He was born the messiah. He died for our sins.

He now sits at the right hand of the majesty in the glory he had with the Father before the world began.

    Amen and amen.

    Do I hear an amen?

    Probably not aye? lol.

T8….Unto us (mankind) a child was born, unto us (mankind) a son (of man and God) was given, more SPICIFIC. Jesus was the “only” human being that God himself FATHERED through the human berth process through a woman. HE IS THE “ONLY” HUMAN BEGOTTEN OF OR BY GOD.

Peace and love to you and yours. ……..gene

No one denies he was a son, a man, and a child.

He was born the messiah, Lord, and son of God as stated in scripture.

We are free to deny the son and we are free to deny that he wasn’t the messiah for all or most of his life here.

Each man has the rudder to steer his life.

Those who are true speak the truth. The spirit of error will sometimes seek to sound true because they need bait, only to hook the unsuspecting with the lie.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the One who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

I am sure you agree if you are led by the Spirit of Truth. And of course God is above all gods and all things. He is above his begotten son.

    Hi T8,

You demand allegiance to your shallow read of scripture threatening being labelled a liar if you beg to differ.

Are you so insecure that you must be seen as infallible?

Shallow. Is scripture shallow? It is not me saying it, it is scripture saying it. Don’t shoot the messenger.

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, asking, “Where is the One who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”

I guess Nick, if you were there you wouldn’t have honoured him as the King of the Jews, just an ordinary being like the baby born before him and the one after him.

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord

But if you were sent the message you wouldn’t obviously say that because you disagree with it as it doesn’t fit your theology.

Be honest with yourself you owe it to yourself. You disagree with the red writing above and persecute me over it. lol. Amazing really.

Even more difficult scripture for Nick. I can see you having a hissy fit with this one.

25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah.  Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, 28 Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying:

29 “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised,
you may now dismiss[d] your servant in peace.
30 For my eyes have seen your salvation,
31     which you have prepared in the sight of all nations:
32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and the glory of your people Israel.”

33 The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him.

Ouch. That is case closed. He was born the King of the Jews, the Lord, and the Messiah.

    Amen.

    Hi T8,

Yes Simeon was familiar with the voice of the Spirit.

    Hi,

    Lk 2.25f

And there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was

righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was

upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see

death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. And he came in the Spirit into the temple,

and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for him the custom

of the law, then he took him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,

’Now, Lord, You are releasing your bondservant to depart in peace, according to your

word:For my eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared in the presence

    of all peoples,

A light for revelation to the gentiles, and the glory of Your people, Israel’

And his father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about him.

And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother,

’Behold this child is appointed for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign to be

opposed-and a sword will pierce even your own soul- to the end that the thoughts of many

    hearts may be revealed’

Simeon was a prophet and God proved it by confirming his revelation. As a prophet he recognised the beginning of the fulfilment of God’s plan in the birth of the man Jesus as a vessel for the work of God on earth by His Spirit.

We too need the Spirit of prophecy to see and grasp the ways of God.

Simeon has much to teach you. If he could speak to you now he would declare what he declared about Jesus. He was born the messiah.

What he said you disagree with. But he was the one led by the Spirit because the text says so.

It doesn’t say that the one who denies Jesus is the Christ is led by the Spirit. Rather it says they are led by the antichrist spirit.

No amount of self proclamation or bull will change this truth. It is clear what you deny, what the text says, and what Simeon and the angel declared.

The truth that Jesus was born the messiah is like that mountain range in the photo. It is hard to move and you will only injure yourself by trying to do so.

I want you to imagine that mountain range everytime you deny Jesus is the Christ and that wasn’t born the Christ even though it is clearly declared in scripture. Imagine kicking and hitting those mountains.
