Hi T8,
Yes the verse is true.
No offence but your understanding of it is spiritually naive.
July 27, 2018 at 11:15 am#832915GeneBalthropParticipantT8….Not saying the verse is wrong, it how your taken it thats wrong. No one is arguing that JESUS WAS “BORN”, TO BE THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. Read this
Mat 1:23….and she “SHALL” bring forth a son, and you “SHALL” call his name Jesus: for he “SHALL” save his people from their sins.
All (future tense expressions). Where does it say when he was born he saved anyone. It say he “SHALL” save his people from their sin,
T8, you have no idea how your looking at Jesus the way you do clouds your perceptions of him, well your certainly not alone brother.
Peace and love to you and yours. ……gene
July 31, 2018 at 4:20 pm#833081ProclaimerParticipantNick,
I believe that this day in the town of David a Savior was born. That day he was the Messiah, the Lord.
You believe it not. Thus, you do not believe that scripture which is a declaration from a heavenly messenger.
Reality is not going to change Nick because you want so much for it not to be true.
Reality vs Nick? reality wins.
July 31, 2018 at 4:30 pm#833082ProclaimerParticipantlol. Nick, are you really trying to convince people that “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord”, spirtually speaking really means, “NOT THIS DAY in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is NOT the Messiah, the Lord”.
I mean come on. No one is going to believe the spiritual meaning is the opposite of the clear and straight forward meaning. Taking this rule, you might as well say that “The fool says in his heart, “There is no God” really means: The fool says in his heart, “There is A God”.
And the rule once applied would also mean that Satan is God and Yahweh isn’t.
No one is going to buy your opposite rule theory are they.
Back to the drawing board Nick.
July 31, 2018 at 4:50 pm#833086NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Yes the Saviour was born.
Why are you surprised?
Even Herod understood such things.
August 1, 2018 at 5:04 am#833101GeneBalthropParticipantT8….you don’t believe he was ‘born’ YOU BELIEVE HE WAS “MORPHED” INTO A BODY. YOU really do not believe he came from the loins of king David, as he said he did. You are preaching a different Jesus, then scripture shows, you belifes are nore on the lines of a alien comming to earth taking the form of a human being. But really a alien of somekind, which by the way you have never told us with he actually is, have you?
Peace and love to you and yours. …….gene

Yes the Saviour was born.
Why are you surprised?
Even Herod understood such things.Trying to hide the fact that you do not believe he was born the messiah.
August 4, 2018 at 4:09 pm#833225NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Those who cannot hear the Spirit in him think Jesus was speaking of himself.
Such is the foundation of the false church.
Come out of her.
August 7, 2018 at 8:46 pm#833373ProclaimerParticipantTrying to hide the fact that you do not believe he was born the messiah as it is clearly written?
August 10, 2018 at 1:49 pm#833488NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
In these last days God has spoken to us through His Son.
Can you hear Him?
August 10, 2018 at 1:55 pm#833489NickHassanParticipantHi t8,
For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God.
Can you hear Him?
August 10, 2018 at 9:35 pm#833510ProclaimerParticipantToday in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Do you hear the truth? He was born the messiah, the Lord, and the saviour.
Amen if you hear this.
August 11, 2018 at 8:30 am#833526NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
The Messiah was born in Bethlehem and anointed at the Jordan.
August 13, 2018 at 10:11 pm#833639ProclaimerParticipantWas he born the messiah
Yes / No.
August 14, 2018 at 7:19 am#833659NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Does scripture state what you believe?
August 14, 2018 at 11:50 am#833667ProclaimerParticipantI believe scripture not the other way round.
I do not believe that scripture agrees with me, rather that it is my mission to agree with scripture. If my view is in conflict with scripture, then it is me that needs to change, not scripture.
Can you say the same about yourself?
August 14, 2018 at 12:17 pm#833669NickHassanParticipantHi T8,
Yes. I believe scripture.
In the knowledge that it is God speaking.
And I have learned that taking the Spiritual words literally can lead to error.
August 15, 2018 at 2:31 am#833672GeneBalthropParticipantNick…..Yes taken some scriptures literally they can, much of the bible is written in metaphoric language. From Genises to revelations.
Peace and love to you and yours. …..gene
August 16, 2018 at 9:01 am#833694Ed JParticipantT8….OK then, please tell us who was saved when JESUS WAS BORN, that shouldn’t be hard for you seening you believe he was already the savoir at birth?
Hi Gene, (Luke 2:30)
“mine eyes have seen thy salvation” – Simeon
August 16, 2018 at 9:05 am#833696Ed JParticipantHi T8,
The Messiah was born in Bethlehem and anointed at the Jordan.
Hi Nick,
He came from eternity to Bethlehem (Micah 5:2)
Why fight the truth ???
