NICK GOT IT RIGHT IT is 2/3/4
but you can answer my other question to Nick
May 5, 2016 at 4:55 pm#813547NickHassanParticipantHi t,
What God requires is that you repent and get water baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.
Then you can ask of God the blessing of the Spirit.
Is this too hard?
May 5, 2016 at 6:58 pm#813554terrariccaParticipantHi N

and did repent long before then ,
and i never said that i was not blessed either ,for i am overwhelmingly blessed ,

Ac 19:3 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?”
“John’s baptism,” they replied.
Ac 19:4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
Ac 19:5 On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.Ac 19:6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
Ac 19:7 There were about twelve men in all.are you serious man , were does it say they were baptised in water in the name of Jesus ?

you claim one thing that is not showing up and then insult others for not able to see your point what does not exist
May 9, 2016 at 2:37 pm#813832NickHassanParticipantHi t,
Baptism in water is the type of all baptisms.
Baptism in the Spirit follows this cleansing.

MK 1:8 “I baptized you with water; but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
so John uses water but Jesus must use a wind like baptism ? right
May 9, 2016 at 3:09 pm#813850NickHassanParticipantHi t,
The disciples learned by sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ.
Did they baptise in water -acts
If so were they misled
or are you?

you did not answer my question why is that ?
for the spirit his like the wind ;Jesus said so receiving it would be like the wind right ?
Jn 20:22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
hmmm,hmmm
May 9, 2016 at 5:01 pm#813874NickHassanParticipantHi t,
The wind blows where it will.
That is how it is for those who are born of the Spirit.
May 9, 2016 at 6:50 pm#813882terrariccaParticipantHi N
so when they received the holy spirit they where not walking straight but going in zigzag ?
i think you did not understand this yet
May 10, 2016 at 8:53 am#813905NickHassanParticipanthi T,
Every man walks straight in his own eyes.
But God wants to work through us.
May 10, 2016 at 3:26 pm#813934Ed JParticipantHi t,
Baptism in water is the type of all baptisms.
Hi Nick,
So baptizing with the HolySpirit and with fire (ref. to Matt 3:11, Luke 3:16) means baptism in water ???
____________
God bless
Ed JMay 10, 2016 at 3:38 pm#813940terrariccaParticipantED
yes Jesus breathed on 10 of his apostles and give them the holy spirit ; no water was used ,
and in many cases the hands where laid and so was the holy spirit given ;no water was used .
at other times they (the new believers)hear the word about Jesus spoken to them and after understanding them they received the holy spirit ;no water was used ,
Nick does not read those scriptures his opinions are more important to him
May 10, 2016 at 3:42 pm#813941NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
No water baptism is the type.
So unless qualified by the words SPIRIT or FIRE ” baptism” means water baptism.
The apostles of course were washed by the Word.
Jn 15

you have now rejected the scriptures for your own opinion ,
