Yes Saul of Tarsus was a legalist and it led him to murder the brothers of Jesus.

It took a direct revelation of the Spirit of Christ to get him to change his ideas.

Nick has a point but it is also true that we study Scripture in order to learn how to know God.

I do not expect God to give a direct revelation to any of us though I would like him to.

God does as God does and what he does is right.
