April 18, 2016 at 11:14 pm#812047kerwinParticipantEd,
It is your job to prove the truth to yourself, not me.
I have already tested it and it is a lie of the evil one. Why would you repeat it instead of testing it yourself. Beware of those that tell your itching ears what they want to hear for they are false friends.
The bottom line is you attempt to reason using evidence that is not sound.
April 18, 2016 at 11:24 pm#812048kerwinParticipantEd,
The Greek Septuagint Bible
It is a bunch of scrolls that were not combined into a codex until after the death of Jesus. Some passages are flawed but Jesus quoted from verses within it anyways. He also quoted verses from the Hebrew scrolls as well. There were no actual bibles as that time. They would be developed later.
Jesus quoted from Hebrew sources as well as Koine Greek and you left no place for them. Do you consider him ignorant?
April 19, 2016 at 12:05 am#812049Ed JParticipantDo you consider him ignorant?
No, I consider you ignorant – since you were told the truth and you refuse to investigate it for yourself.

Throw the NIV in the trash where it belongs
=====================================================well now I have read the NIV 1984 and many other versions and came to understand the truth of God
and you with your old english barbare version the KJV revised many times ,you still did not find any truth ,get serious man ,
no version is bad ,what is bad is someone hold to one version as if it was God himself ,like you do
April 19, 2016 at 2:34 am#812057Ed JParticipantno version is bad
Why don’t you study out of the NWT then?
April 19, 2016 at 2:51 am#812060GeneBalthropParticipantTerricca….THE RESURECTION IS WHAT WILL WITTNESS THE REDEMPTION OF OUR “BODIES” just like it did for JESUS. Where did you ever get the idea i don’t believe in a resurection from, i have never said that.
You should at least have proof before you falsely accuse people, because that makes you a false accuser, is that not what the devil does?
peace and love to you and yours ………gene

your answer told all ,that you don’t believe in the resurrection ,if not pay attention to the things you say
April 19, 2016 at 5:10 am#812064kerwinParticipantGene,
The bottom line is that Terarica does not believe in the resurrection because he does not believe Jesus was resurrected but instead believes he was transformed from a flesh and bone body to one made of extoplasm. Though he gives ectoplasm the alias of spirit.
He will not believe Jesus was resurrected until he believe Jesus’ old body was planted like a seed and his new body rose from the grave as a flesh and bone body just as Paul testified about the resurrection.
If he had faith he would not be led astray.
It is best we test our own faith less we too be found wanting.
April 19, 2016 at 5:25 am#812065kerwinParticipantEd,
No, I consider you ignorant – since you were told the truth and you refuse to investigate it for yourself.
You really should learn to support your claims with evidence if you want to prove you have knowledge. By showing the work you reveal the thought you put into the statement and in those thought your spirit will be revealed.
bible.caDid Jesus Recognize a Specific Text of Scripture?
Did Jesus recognize a specific text form of scripture? It does not appear so, for his usage of scripture is allusive, paraphrastic, and-so far as it can be ascertained-eclectic. We find agreement with the proto-Masoretic text, with the Hebrew under-lying the Septuagint (perhaps even the Septuagint itself), and with the Aramaic para-phrase. Several examples from each category will illustrate the phenomena. The examples that are chosen are the most obvious, in that they stand over against the readings in the other versions.
The source may not be the best but it is much the same as I have heard in other places. Jesus was more concerned with the truth than the texts he was using.
April 19, 2016 at 5:31 am#812066kerwinParticipantEd,
Terrarica has a point and that is that in heart you have made the Av of the KJV an idol. It is a failing of many of the Scripture only crowd. Jesus warns against doing so when he speaks of those that diligently study Scripture but do not come to him.
It is wisest to seek the truth wherever it may be found.
April 19, 2016 at 7:04 am#812070Ed JParticipantHi Kerwin,
This is an open forum, meaning you can say whatever you want.
But just because you say something doesn’t make it true,
the same goes for any outside sources that you quote. If you want to believe the NIV is pure, have at it – but I told you the truth about it being corrupt.
If you chose not to investigate it, that is your choice. It is not my job to convince you.
But it is my job to confront errors that you try to pass off to others as truth.___________________

no one says that for they are all corrupted but not the message ,so follow the message
April 19, 2016 at 8:41 am#812075kerwinParticipantEd,
I told you the truth about it being corrupt.
I actually believe it is corrupt because it was translated by heretics. The same true with every English translation, including the AV of the KJ.
There were corrupt versions during Jesus’ mortality and he used them anyways.
Why do you think he chose to do that?
April 19, 2016 at 10:14 am#812082Ed JParticipantI actually believe it (the NIV) is corrupt because it was translated by heretics.
Hi Kerwin,
If you choose to get your truth from a corrupt source, have at it.

they are all been corrupt for all those men were corrupted one way or another ,
but not the message
April 19, 2016 at 8:37 pm#812104NickHassanParticipantHi ,
The resurrection of Jesus fulfilled the sign of Jonah and proved that Jesus is the Son of God.
But it was not the final act by God.
He was taken up out of their sight and transformed into one able to enter heaven.
He will return as he left.
He will meet the others reborn into his body and take them to be with him while the earth is destroyed.
Then he will return to rule and restore the earth with them for 1000 yrs.
