The NIV was translated from the Nestle Greek Text (which itself is a corrupt text).
The Nestle Greek Text is a blending of two other corrupt texts:
The Codex Vaticanus and The Codex Sinaiticus

The first printing of the “Textus Receptus” is un-corrupted – without 1John 5:7 (which was added in later)
The “AKJV Bible” was translated from the second printing of the “Textus Receptus” (which has 1John 5:7 added in)

Terricca….Nick is right ,the apostles are all sleeping the sleep of death, and will remain that way until the resurection which will “witness” the redemption of their “BODIES”, and some who are alive and remain will be CHANGED and rise, at the return of the MAN JESUS, The CHISTO’S, OR “ANOINTED” ONE OF GOD.

So not only they (the deciples are wating) so are we waiting for that resurection that adoption that will witiness the redemption of “OUR BODIES”.

It is your job to prove the truth to yourself, not me.
You can always ignore the truth like Pierre if you want – your choice
The NIV is indeed corrupt – prove it to yourself whether or not it’s the truth.

“these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word,
