The second Adam became a life giving spirit.
He gave of that Spirit to his body at Pentecost.Lifegiving spirit does not mean an angel.
The Spirit of life[rom8] in Christ is from God and is the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is not an angel.

Do you think all the prophets were angels too?June 23, 2012 at 9:11 pm#303819mikeboll64BlockedNick, what part of what I've already explained do you not comprehend?
Were the prophets SPIRIT BEINGS, or HUMAN BEINGS?
Now go back and read what I've already explained, and answer your own question from the words I've already posted.

So you don't think Jesus is a spirit being right now? You think he is still a flesh and blood human being?June 23, 2012 at 9:14 pm#303823NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
You mean this nonsense?“Jesus became a life giving spirit……….before he delivered God's message to John in Revelation.
Therefore, an angel.”
June 23, 2012 at 9:15 pm#303824NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Does scripture say he is a spirit BEING?
If so are all such BEINGS angels-what about God?June 23, 2012 at 9:16 pm#303825NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The Lord is the Spirit.
That Spirit is not an angel.Logic constantly causes you to stumble into falsehoods

Is God a spirit being who delivers messages from God to others? NO. So God is not an angel (spirit MESSENGER).June 23, 2012 at 9:31 pm#303833mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 23 2012,15:00) Hi MB,

Nick,Did you go back and read what I've already written? Did you find the answer to your own question in what I've already posted?
Please tell me, based on what I posted just today, whether or not I believe the prophets of old were angels.
June 23, 2012 at 9:45 pm#303836NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Neither is Jesus the man any kind of angel.
Angels are not men and do not become men.June 23, 2012 at 9:55 pm#303841mikeboll64BlockedSorry Nick,
If Jesus is a spirit being, which he now is, and he delivers any message from God to others, then he is an “angel”, an English word which refers to a “spirit messenger”.
End of discussion.

Where does scripture say Jesus is a SPIRIT BEING?June 24, 2012 at 4:40 am#303874NickHassanParticipantHi WU,
Gen 6 does not say angels BECOME men.June 24, 2012 at 5:13 am#303879NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
If scripture says in at least three places that he is a man and at least two places that he is a prophet
then you are right and scripture is wrong?June 24, 2012 at 2:42 pm#303897mikeboll64BlockedI think we agree that Jesus was at one time a man, Nick. Do you think Jesus is still a human being in heaven right now?
And if you want, you can omit the word “BEING” from my post. The fact remains that Jesus became a SPIRIT, and Revelation 1:1 makes it clear that, as a SPIRIT, he is delivering a message from God to others. That qualifies him as an “angel” – whether you like it or not.
June 24, 2012 at 7:01 pm#303919NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The Son of man will return.
Why should we take it on ourselves to call him a SPIRIT BEING? - AuthorPosts
