Eze 29:3 Speak to him and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says:so prophets only receive the words and then say them to others
this as been my complete understanding through the scriptures ;
That is correct, Pierre. What it means for God to “speak through” someone is that God gives that person the words, and they relate those words to others.It is not a matter of God Himself speaking with a literal voice that comes out of the human being.
So the fact is that God did speak through Jesus. And what that means is that the things Jesus taught are what God wanted him to teach. But Jesus did it in his own words – in his own manner.
Every single time the scripture says “Jesus said………” – it was the human being Jesus speaking the words.

What of Mt 10
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

John 17:8
For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them.Are you beginning to understand, Nick? God GAVE Jesus words to speak. Jesus then spoke those words to the people.
God wasn't literally and directly saying things through the mouth of Jesus. Nor is that the way God “spoke through” His many other prophets either.

Same here. The Spirit of the Father would GIVE them the words they needed to speak, when the time came. They would then give those words to their accusers.June 6, 2014 at 2:31 am#387337NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Indeed the Word is from God.
Jesus only spoke for God the words that the Father gave him.He had the Spirit of Truth, of God in Him.
He also, like all prophets, had the Spirit of Christ in him who spoke.June 6, 2014 at 2:38 am#387339terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 06 2014,08:19) Hi T,

Nwhat Mike says is true ,and to more clear ;what mike does is to you if it would be God speaking for it is the words of God from scriptures that are spoken to you ,and we know that what Jesus said came from his father and God ,
Jn 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
see how this works the truth of God never changes no matter who speaks it

Quote He also, like all prophets, had the Spirit of Christ in him who spoke. Jesus Christ did not had the spirit of Christ ;because he is THE CHRIST ,THE REAL THING ,NOT THE ONE TO COME ,THAT'S IT JESUS WAS THE CHRIST WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN HIM GIVEN BY HIS FATHER ,FOR THE WORK HE AD TO DO,
Rev 19:10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
AS LONG AS CHRIST WAS TO COME THOSE WORDS ARE TRUE;For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy BUT WHEN CHRIST CAME THE PROPHECY STOPPED BEING A PROPHECY BECAUSE IT IS FULFILLED ,

N1Pe 1:10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care,
1Pe 1:11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow.THIS ABOVE SCRIPTURE PROVE MY POINT .

“Jesus Christ did not had the spirit of Christ “Then according to 1 Peter he was not a prophet then?
Acts 3
NQuote Jesus wants you to come alive in the Spirit here you seem to talk of one kind of spirit ;
Quote “Jesus Christ did not had the spirit of Christ “ here you seem to talk about another spirit
Quote Jesus wants you to come alive in the Spirit. and in this quote you seem to talk about another yet spirit ;
Quote Then according to 1 Peter he was not a prophet then?
Acts 3in this quote you seem to be confused with ;Rev;19
” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
this I explain it to you ,but you seem not to understand it ,
the fact is that even though the same word “spirit” is used they do not mean the same thing ,but of cause you know that right

Quote Yes both you and Mike hear only the natural. Mike and I do not look for men's opinions only for what it says in scriptures ;but as scriptures says ;
Jn 3:12 I(Jesus Christ) have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I (Jesus Christ)speak of heavenly things?
you see Nick we both speak of what scriptures speaks the words written under the holy spirit guidance and the words of God's holy one his son ,
but you do not believe him or us ,we all can testify to that even the angels in heaven see it
