I find this series interesting mostly because I live in New Zealand. But for others, it might still be interesting as it shows a different ancient world to the one we have been taught. This video series basically says that many more people have been migrating all over the earth than previously thought. In fact the sea was a busy highway of exploration with the Polynesians being the greatest explorers of them all.

Since the day I was born people thought I was part Maori. The nurse thought my father was Maori (until she saw him). 2 separate Maori woman (strangers) have apologized for staring, saying I looked like their daughter. All my friends and ex have been Maori/ part Maori. My father is what is called the dark Irish (black curly hair, thick eyebrows, darker skin and eyes that change color, which I also have).
Anyway will watch the rest later.
NZ is a beautiful country.February 25, 2016 at 1:39 pm#809635ProclaimerParticipantThere is a belief that the Spanish married into Irish society. My mother was Irish and had jet-black hair and hazel eyes.
I travelled the world before tavelling extensively around New Zealand. Yes I agree, what a beautiful country. When I drove down the Westcoast of the South Island for the first time, it was quite annoying. Every corner I turned opened up a new and amazing landscape and had to stop to take a photo. A very time-consuming trip. lol. So much packed in a small space.
February 26, 2016 at 9:06 am#809688MiiaParticipantI’ve lived here all my life and never think of going anywhere else. My parents come back from overseas travel, and breathe a sigh of relief at the green open spaces.
February 26, 2016 at 10:28 am#809695ProclaimerParticipantMe too. It is always comforting coming home. I remember living in South America for 18 months. When I arrive in New Zealand, I unconsciously lowered my head so that when I came out into the terminal, I would not make eye contact with hawkers etc. Then I realised I was in NZ and didn’t have to do that. I lifted my head and no one hassled me. A nice feeling coming home as there was peace. Then I watched the news on the TV. All I saw were first world problems in the local news. Insignificant to what was going on around the world.
February 28, 2016 at 10:01 pm#809784MiiaParticipantYes, South America would be heaps different.
And NZ news as well.
February 29, 2016 at 3:23 pm#809818ProclaimerParticipantI watched an hour’s news in Colombia one day. It was way more and I mean way more horrific than a year’s worth in NZ.
February 29, 2016 at 5:57 pm#809834MiiaParticipantYeah we have it pretty easy here, t8.
March 1, 2016 at 2:16 am#809838kerwinParticipantt8,
I think Civilization V taught me about the Polynesian willingness for traveling.

Hi Miia,
Yea, good thing the free-world won WWW2; huh?
Now the last enemy the world faces is islam._______________
God bless
Ed JMarch 1, 2016 at 9:36 am#809844MiiaParticipantActually, the last enemy is death.
March 1, 2016 at 10:16 am#809846ProclaimerParticipantAs an aside, the fourth horse of the apocalypse of which death and hell is said to follow is a pale green.
There is a belief that this horse is Islam as the following video demonstrates.
Not saying I subscribe to it, but it is certainly possible.
Be patient as the main point is made two-thirds through the video.
