I received word yesterday evening that my sister Virginia suddenly passed away. She had given up hope after her husband Fred died earlier this year and she wouldn't eat much. There was nothing medically wrong with her that caused her not to eat. She was not eating due to despair. She got down to 78 pounds. She went to the doctor yesterday to get a flu and a pneumonia shot, then came home to lie down on the bed and passed away.
I think the shots finally did her in but we are waiting on the autopsy report to determine the cause of death. I live on the East Coast USA and she lived in California. So I will not be able financially or otherwise to travel. She leaves behind her three children years 29, 23, and 19. They will need prayers offered up for them because in half a year they have lost both their parents.
I wish Virginia would have known Christ and the quality of life she could have had in Him even after her loss. It seems a shame that she gave up hope in living when she could have had peace and joy.
thank you,
KJ

My heart and prayers go out in behalf of you and your family. My sister hung herself 3 years ago. In fact, it was at her funeral gathering that I made the decision to trade my life of drugs and alcohol for a life devoted to learning more about God and what the future holds.
Silver lining? Perhaps. But I still miss her and wish she could be here to see how God has worked in my life.
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him.
I look forward to those times.
With sincere sympathy for your loss,
