Do YOU believe the promises, Nick? If so, how are you able to UNDERSTAND that which you believe?

Are you allowed to believe things all by yourself, Nick? Doesn't that require knowledge of the things you choose to believe? Doesn't it require understanding, and logic, and common sense to know what it is you will believe, and what it is you won't believe?

Perhaps the Spirit believes the promises for you, since you are unable to use your own God-given mental capacities?

that is what Nick does he is so vague that what he is saying end up of no value ,

all claim the spirit but what spirit of cause all say God's spirit or Christ spirit ;this is strange because they do not believe the scriptures and what God and his son have said ,so what spirit do they use to be guided their own i would say

God had led me to realise the wondrous beauty and harmony of His Word and the words of men became as ashes in my mouth

And how did you learn about God and Jesus BEFORE you were baptized? Surely you must have knew something about scripture – or you wouldn't have chosen to be baptized, right?

By what means did you learn that FIRST stuff – BEFORE the baptism?

Rather than discussing logic as a whole (which I'm sure encompasses all sorts on non-logic) perhaps it makes sense to look at tiny bits of what people call logic to see if they are actually logic or not.
