    Hi Colter,
So God did not protect His Word?[ps12]
And YOU are the only holder of TRUTH?

The truth is always available to those who are willing to be lead by the spirit.

Human wisdom must evolve; God and his righteous subordinates don't interfere with the evolution of wisdom on evolutionary worlds. God did not protect the world from Satan’s free will to betray, God didn't protect Eve from the influence of the fallen ones etc etc. Jesus didn’t write any words down; his message was imperfectly preserved in oral tradition for a long while after he left. When they began to realize that he was not coming back “soon” then several different people wrote several different books.

Jesus revealed God in greater detail then left the mechanisms of religious evolution carry as much of it as it could comprehend.

Now for 5th time revelation has occurred, The Urantia Papers.

    Hi Colter,
If your faith has died will these teachings save you?

I'm already saved, the salvation of spirit birth is not a “theory”, it's a conscious, present tense reality. My faith is as strong as ever.

    Hi Colter,
Yes and the gift is given to help us understand scripture and become like Jesus.

That's from the idolatrous bible worship doctrine, the gospel taught and practised by Christ was about a relationship with the living God, not a fetishistic prison of the distant past.

    Patriarchy at it’s best!

Your created female in the womb.

To place gender on a god is idol worship.

    Not that difficult.

True. God is not a man. He is called ‘he’ because it is the word that is used to identify him as a person or living being as opposed to being a force or inanimate thing. God is spirit. And for the redeemed, there is no marriage.

    Rhetoric answer there T-hehe.

So by your words just use he and everyone understands better. That’s reassuring.

So logically when one places jesus as their god who was flesh and blood by accounts, as God they are idol worshippers.

    I couldn’t agree more.

    Hi,

Logic is a weak human tool.

Spiritual language can only be read with the Spirit.

In the manner of the Hebrew idiom of permission, What God seems to be saying he is the source of is not literally true.   He is not the doer of the action but is permitting the action to occur.

This brings in the issue of God’s gift of free will, ie, our ability to choose, into play.

Since God gave us free will, as well as to spirit beings, hence Lucifer’s rebellion against God, He does take responsibility for that, and He is blessed that He gave that to us.

However, he is not blessed with how many choose to use that free will.

But back to the idiom,  there are verses in scripture that seem to indicate that God did some evil to someone, ie, hardened Pharaoh’s heart, etc.  but keeping the idiom in mind we understand that Pharaoh chose to harden his heart in rejection of God’s promise to Moses and the children of Israel.  Pharaoh chose to reject God’s will that was declared to him, and thus hardened his hard against God and his people in the process.

God uses figures of speech often in his word, thus our recognition of that is necessary for us to rightly divide the word of truth
