Ed, you apparently have comprehension problems.  Keith admitted that he cannot prove Jesus is God SIMPLY by quoting a scripture that lists Jesus as a god.

THAT is what I worked so hard to get him to admit.  There is NOTHING in my statement that says Keith doesn't think Jesus is God.  Only that he agrees that being called "god" is NOT proof of his claim.

Being called "god" in English is simply a translators best guess at how "theos" or "elohim" should be translated in any given verse. The KJV translators render "elohim" as "mighty" (Gen 23:6, Ps 82:1), and "judges" (Ex 21:6, 22:9). But other translations render these same verses with the word "gods".

So NO, the English word "god" has no more effect than the Hebrew word "elohim" or the Greek word "theos". It is always a matter of context and translators.

Ed, were you ever going to quote one of my "YES or NO" questions that is impossible to answer with a YES or a NO?  Or possibly one of the "loaded" questions I've asked you?

I assumed that's what this thread was about, but as yet have seen no proof of your claim.

Mike and Ed! Reading some of your posts makes me wonder, why you go into such details how to answer a question? Ed, in most cases what Mike asked You could have been answered with a yes, or no….. and then explain what you consider that question is…. I read that is how Mike was doing it…. So why can't you?
