I was going by the idea the wages of sin are death and Jesus did not pay those wages for himself but these two scriptures you helped me find demonstrate one who does not sin will not see corruption.

And when God AGAIN brought him into the world the angels were commanded to worship him.

So any suggestion that he had previously been a godly being greater than any angel seems to lack support.

you should read ;Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Col 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
