Muhammad taught his followers to worship a different God.

“But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a (al-Lah) god
whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver,
and with precious stones, and pleasant things.” (Dan 11:38)

He told them to Worship The God of Abraham, The God of Isaac, The God of Jacob, TheGodof Jesus…etc.

Would that be wrong for someone to Worship that God?

    Hi BD,

If he said that – then he lied, because Muhammad taught them to believe in a different god; one named 'al-Lah'.

The God of the bible, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob is יהוה YÄ-hä-vā.

Did Abraham, Isaac, Jacob or anyone before know the name

    YÄ-hä-vā?

I only ask because the scriptures say no one knew that name before Moses.

So if Muhammad taught people to Worship God even as those before Moses Worshipped God how would he be wrong?

    Hi BD,

Muhammad taught his followers to disobey GOD's commandments, and also taught his followers
to worship a false god (which was satan calling himself 'al-Lah').   (see Gal.1:8, & 2Cor.11:14-15)

    Hi BD,

I'm sure the Angels did, Gabriel as well as Lucifer(also known as satan the devil).
Let's say for the sake of argument that they didn't know God's name before Moses.
Are you suggesting that it is OK for muslims NOT to know the name of the true GOD?      (<– please answer)

    God bless

Yes, I am saying God did not give the name before Moses for whatever reason and therefore it is certainly possible it was only meant for those particular people, they were not using it in the NT at all and Jesus is not reported as saying it instead opting to say “Hallowed be thy name”

So if there is no scripture of Jesus teaching or using the name perhaps God did not want it used any longer

    Hi BD,

Concerning Psalm 45:17, are you claiming that this verse is wrong?
“I will make thy name (YÄ-hä-vā) to be remembered in all generations:
therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.” (Psalms 45:17)

I speak of the things which I have made touching the king:
my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Also notice there is no name mentioned not even the use of theword “Lord”

So your use of this verse as a proof is WRONG
